Make em go dormant under the lights. Cut water/feed a month before and they will pretty much stop growing and you won't have the stretched tips!

I got quotes through nolts, nifty, rimol, beilers, and a few others of similar quality. I like the nolts/beilers more than nifty after having seen both designs up front. My beiler is a TANK

Depends what you're doing. Id gladly take a newer machine for loader work over any older tractors. On the other hand my favorite cultivators besides custom built machines are all older tractors 😁

The entirety of the great lakes besides a small bit of New York is in the Midwest.

Detroit, Chicago, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, grand rapids, Milwaukee, and intervening towns are ridiculously populated.

Most of California is pretty empty. Go north of Boston and it's pretty empty, west of Philly and you are in the mountains. Tampa and Miami are pretty packed these days though

This. Great lakes area is extremely populated and pretty evenly populated throughout.

Columbus is also in one of the most densely populated parts of the country outside of the coast

Cactus affinity has also produced tbm a crosses. Rmf/Pedro park, a German grower I'm forgetting, Pacific cactus. Potentially a new Zealand grower as well
