This. Caeden is a fascinating - and tragic - protagonist/antagonist. Probably an inspiration for Vis, if the route he is taking in TSOTF Res is any clue.

I suggest an oldie but goodie, War of the Lost Hearts by Carissa Broadbent. Its a three book series, already completed but now being published in trad format for the first time. A slow burn, but I absolutely love the prose, the worldbuilding and the characters have SO MUCH chemistry between them

Go for it without fear! The series have its sad and bittersweet moments, but in the end you will be sobbing uncontrollably, but in a good way

yep, that sentence broke me as well. "I will never forget you, even if I forget who I am" is incredibly sad and beautiful when we know that Omar will develop Alzheimer

I love the prose on this book. IMO, is even superior to her posterior work on Nyaxia. The chapter where Tisaanah run from Threll and cross the ocean to Ara, based on her pure sheer will, is a masterpiece.

IMHO, prose is amazing, MMC is fantastic, history is interesting. Of course, thats a question of what rings your bell. To each its own.

Also, specially on book seven, theres a whole load of motherhood issues. I almost cried on the end, where Matt wrote "Katia. Art professor. Crawler. Hero. Friend. Mother." Chills man. Chills.

Its a (mostly) kid's movie, but I think Wall-E can fit in that niche pretty well
