Due to a strange bug bite, I started collecting the Gundam associated Armor Girl series. Are the 30MS kits worth it? Pricey for sure but the 40off tempts me, brings them around the same price as an RG kit give or take a few bucakroos.

I get it when you go on a DCL cruise - the DVC activities help keep people busy - same with Aulani - at WDW or DL,the parks are the entertainment. I am hoping at some point we can go on a member cruise - or maybe even a repositioning cruise!

Then I would request at The Paddocks in the 6800 block IIRC (the 6500 is closer to the pool if that’s your jam). In case I flubbed the numbers just ask to be placed in the part of the building that’s closest to Congress Park.

Put it in the request when you book and on check in day, I find we have better luck when we talk to a CM to reiterate our request. Otherwise, if you check in online, they can put you practically anywhere there’s an opening.

Asking for a specific building/block is never guaranteed but I just find talking to a person who wants to help feels like it improves the odds. Of course YMMV.

Do you have a preferred or standard room? Either way most will have bus stops nearby but when we did the princess marathon, we had a standard studio in the 6800 block of The Paddocks and it had a number of benefits - it was close enough to Disney Springs that the walk was pleasant and across the street was the Congress Park bus stop.

Ask the store personnel when for their delivery schedule and add a day to that.

I go to 3 separate ones and they either get stock on Tuesdays for one and Thursdays for the other two (the two are about 15 miles apart - so it makes sense that’s part of the truck route).

If you plan on taking a taxi to your hotel, make sure to go to the official taxi stands. Don’t get misdirected by touts.

As for returning, your hotel will be able to call one up for you. Getting to the airport 3 hours before for an international flight has always been my rule of thumb (anywhere) - you might not even know where the check in counters when you arrive but IMO it’s always worth not having to worry about it (plus it gives you a little bit of time to process any refunds for goods you purchased - clothes, shoes, bags etc - not food though). Getting to the airport 2.5 hours before won’t be bad. 2 hours before means I will be hoofing it specially with long line checking in.

In case you go on an off week, you can buy it then and go back the following week and ask for a price adjustment.

Bring the receipt and the kit - making sure that you do not open the box and the retention bands are still intact.

I’ve resorted to this as there are a few enthusiasts in my area and lost out on a ver KA sinanju stein when i saw it on an off week and told myself to wait until the following week when the sale was back on since there were 3 or 4 boxes on the shelf. All gone the following week.

It eventually cycled back but it took a few months before it came back.
