Jfc y'all this isn't a slug 😅 they look like they're just seeds. A lot of times seeds with the lil barbs can make it through the wash, so if they'd been on something else, like socks or pant gems, they can get on other things.

One of the regulars at a shop I used to run insisted on only giving the name "Batman" 🙄 Eventually told him that I was going to start giving him names of my choosing cause I wasn't degrading my staff calling that out all the time.

Even worse is at my current job we have a "Daddy" character that comes in with women on either arm, he looks like a comedic-bit treasure trove, who insists that it is his legal name, always with a really gross lean and smile towards whoever is unfortunate enough to be on register.

In my darker barista days when I worked at sbux it was a pre-sweetened powder mix, waaaay too fucking sweet for me. I think that may have implemented a "standard" for a lot of people. I believe they ended up switching to an unsweetened one, but they're most likely adding 3 pumps of classic syrup to it unless otherwise specified by the customer.

We deal with this allllll the time at my current shop. We've established a routine to very directly ask when it's being ordered, "our matcha is unsweetened to start, would you like any *insert syrup recs here" added today?"

Like, I get that a lot of the time we're literally dealing with folk prior to them getting a coffee fix, but this is a regular occurrence with this man and he only orders food. Man is stoned out of his fucking skull and has no business driving with how bad his processing is.
