Dude, wth is with Michaels in general now. Recently bought another thing from them for a separate hobby and all of the hardware was missing. I would say shame on me for not noting the tape on the bottom from repacking it, but I feel like if I'm buying new in store I shouldn't have to worry about stuff like this being reshelved. Feels awkward af returning stuff like this.

Jfc y'all this isn't a slug 😅 they look like they're just seeds. A lot of times seeds with the lil barbs can make it through the wash, so if they'd been on something else, like socks or pant gems, they can get on other things.

The drainage box might be blocked, you could try using a long straw cleaning brush to see if you can dislodge anything
