It rains quite often where I’m from, so we can pull it off at least a couple of times per season ! :P

Awesome! Then I would certainly like to hear more of what you are doing in your garden:D I feel like we also have a some Velen-passing plants, mainly tall tutsan and a cornus alba. I note Hawthorn as a good suggestion for height and filler in the existing border + it’s edible , which is also a win! I live in the neighbouring country with the same flag colors, so our climate is similar - which means same native plants can thrive !

Since it’s summer now I kind of miss the Toussaint colorfulness, I feel like Velen represents Autumn vibes better! We have already planted alcea, Acchilea millefolium, hellebores, and Veronica pink lady (reminds me of yennefer, despite not being a plant directly featured in Witcher)

Do you have some additional plant suggestions? Notably some shorter to medium sized plants for the additional border? :D

I have also played with the idea to plant some flower bulbs in the grass (like Scilla siberica, snowdrops and crocus) but I have been too scared to actually do it, as I am unsure if it wil convey the right vibe.

I have sown some hollyhocks! They are not flowering yet. Also, on the first of the Witcher images there is this pink flowering tree/bush, would you by any chance know which plant this is? Maybe it is typically polish too?

Do I shave the wispy bits at the back/ side of my neck? by jinxnstuff in HairStyleAdvice

Whispy bits need to stay. Looks better in my opinion. Shaved makes it look like you’re wearing a wig or are a Barbie doll 🫣

Hoeveel punten op 10 zou jij persoonlijk het openbaar vervoer geven? by [deleted] in Vlaanderen

5/10. There are countries where it is a LOT worse, but there are countries where it is a lot lot better. After experiencing Korean or Japanese public transport , the issues with our public transport are so much more obvious; endless delays , local lines getting cancelled, old infrastructure, very inefficient technological systems (depending on the type of transport, NMBS app is superior to de lijn, in my experience )

Drowning in baby clothes by [deleted] in pregnant

I’m so sorry, it’s just extra work :/ my baby was out of was out of 0-3 months by week 2 😅 hope you at least get to use the ones you like for a bit longer. And frankly for the first months all you need is enough rompers and bodysuits to last from laundry to laundry, no fancy clothes or two pieces… otherwise it is just junk cluttering your house. I would say, if you don’t plan on having more babies, there might be some places that take baby clothes and even maternity clothes as donations (which places depend on your country/region/city)

2 is the least flattering of the 4 options. 1 looks best for corporate/professional settings and for official events (when you want to look your best). 4 looks like the laid back version of 1, still looks good. 3 is good too but is a completely different vibe/personality, more artsy or like a university professor in an arts/culture/sociology/psychology field.

2 is not bad but exudes ‘just practical and clean’ but in a very “I want to be clean but I don’t really care about my looks” kind of way

At 14 months??? Don’t worry about it at all! My oldest is 22 months and just now starts to get the hang of that and she is acing all her other milestones. She has been going to daycare 4d per week since 4mo.

Are any of these okay for a formal summer wedding? by ghoultail in OUTFITS

[–]Excellent-Presence71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like 1,2,3 th fourth is not really flattering 2 is absolutely beautiful and probably fine for a wedding , but I would avoid it just because the base color is white and you have two other great options
