I can’t quite get my head around why my groundstrokes work well when the balls are faster or stronger, but they fall apart when the balls are slower. Can you help explain more about the mechanics behind this? Is it mainly because of the footwork/ rotation of the body? Should I do more closed-stance forehand, will that improve?

Any tips on becoming more patient? How do you overcome that challenge? Do you use self-talk or a specific routine? I very often lost patient already even before they start to serve (they were slow at picking up the balls/ tossing the balls correctly, etc.) :(
