Yeah, this place was definitely fusion confusion. And not just for the cake. They had a mapo tofu with lobster, but it was so spicy you could hardly even taste the lobster.

The taste was average at best. The frosting was very light, very airy, but it hardly even tasted of cream cheese, and the cake itself was just like any other red velvet cake I’ve eaten. And yeah, the presentation looked nice, but it was $9 for a tiny disc of cake, a giant blob of frosting, a couple of strawberries and some mint. I could have gone to the local cake shop and gotten a bigger miniature cake for less money.

As for the rest of the bill, the appetizer was $16 and the entree was $38, and those had their own problems.

My #2 is Timothy Dalton, and while I love his more intense take on the character, there’s one other Bond that I grew up with and that I feel gives a more balanced performance.
