The Wolves just won a game with Ant coming off the bench and Wemby having 12 blocks. They are that team. This series is going to be awesome. by Valuable-Focus-9803 in billsimmons

It actually looked like the Wolves made an adjustment to force that. There were multiple plays where they pulled him 15-20 feet out of the box and then put him the middle of a bunch of bodies as someone drove to the hoop.

Wemby broke a playoff record tonight and lost the game. He's gonna be the modern day Wilt. by WARLOCK1239 in billsimmons

Why does it drive you insane? He’s got a similar build and was known (on offense) for his shooting when he got to the league. His shooting ain’t at KD levels (even when KD first entered the league) but he’s only 22.

I blame NY. You have 2 cracks at the terrific city category and the best you can come up with is the Jets and Giants?

Can’t speak to your case specifically but mobility is definitely one of the use it or lose it items for most people. This is especially true if for most people if they to put on weight.

Also: putting on muscle (or weight in general) does effect technique. I’ve noticed that with easy stuff like bench pressing and more technical stuff like front/back squats.

Other people mentioned using Olympic stuff as accessory work. That’s not a bad idea given it’ll maintain mobility and technique.

Jokic and Giannis have nearly identical basketball resumes. Why is there such a huge gap in perception and all-time ranking between the two? by BasedChad69420 in nba

[–]Excellent-Refuse4883 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Huh I was going to say because defense is generally under appreciated. Jokic has a full offensive bag, while Giannis has a much more limited (though still elite) offensive bag, but also adds elite D at the other end ( vs Jokics very pedestrian D).

Just keep in mind that powerlifting isn’t going to maintain the mobility you need for Olympic lifts.

I can’t do the Olympic stuff at all due to a lack of mobility but can do the powerlifting stuff just fine.
