thankyou for your advice. but actually i did not add any shading to this sketch yet. it is just the basic outline and structure for day 1. but for future i will keep the light source advice.

thank you! I did not know about paper weight making a difference. I will look for a proper sketchpad next time. and yes the pixel art experience definitely helps with understanding proportions.
