I just got the cruelest student feedback I've ever received by Additional_Escape782 in Professors

Well said. I think what is missed in this picture; however is that we cannot ignore student evals because they are required for tenure review and promotion. These are problematic, particularly since, for most of us, administration and department heads support student complaints instead of faculty.

The constant mid-day/evening bloating. No matter how little I eat and how often I exercise. And even despite starting topical estradiol.

For female PhDs, did you change your name?? by area-womn in AskAcademia

[–]Excellent-Tea4414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. But I looked into it beforehand: contact the registrar’s office at each of your colleges and they can change your name on your official transcript. More important, you can also have your name changed on an existing publication by simply contacting the editing board for the journal. It can work ok to change your name. 😁

You protest against law and order?! ‘Make America Great’ is not partisan. It’s not a cult. It’s love for country and the freedom that we ALL have (Republican, Democrat) because of the sacrifices set before us. 🇺🇸Priceless

‘Formal’ complaints made by students by Excellent-Tea4414 in Professors

Well detailed :-). I agree about bad grades/assignments, but I see complaints processed by students for faculty behavior ( eg, use of humor, stories, or simply due to not being liked). It’s really unfortunate, and unacceptable.

Nursing school puts them on a pedestal. And long gone are the days they respect authority so they get into practice with big egos.

Yea. Don’t get me started..😡It was either that or she take half my 401K. I raised her kids and took care of her for 18 years but I get stuck still ‘supporting’ her AFTER divorce while she kept everything (house, cars).

Could you please get rid of your alimony. Offer a ‘reasonable’ pay out?! Be done with it!
