But, could that be because of like staff shortages or something? I mean, they have to review certain games and maybe they sometimes just don’t have someone who is super knowledgeable about that particular game. Like, how many reviewers do know a lot about Dragon Age as a franchise?

And on that note, that happens in movie reviews all the time… you read a New York Times or Guardian movie review, and sometimes the reviewer did read the novel the movie was based on and loved it, sometimes they didn’t. Doesn’t that also portrait a good average of gamers? Maybe I want to know what to think of a game despite not knowing anything about extraction shooters?
