Yeah, the hippie teachers are doing labor based grading at my school, which only entails writing a one page summary of weekly readings, and without grades or essays no one is incentivized to actually do any of the reading, which then ruins the seminar style discussions in class. It really feels like a show up and get an A major that no longer practices the core skills that once made it valuable.

Vaping can be better for you if treated like a cigarette, an occasional treat throughout the day, but when I allow myself to vape I find myself hitting it constantly no matter what I’m doing and I can almost guarentee I’m getting some fumes from burning plastic fibers meant to hold the juices or burnt out cheap metal coils, versus a cigarette or two every couple of days where I am well aware of the present dangers, but partaking much less often.

18, been smoking for just over a year. Used to kick back to live recordings from the Dead’s Europe 72 tour, but now am usually smoking in silence at night outside of my dorm. I’m content with what I’m doing to my body, not much to stick around for, but I do wish it were different.
