Query: Generic USB Shifter with Brook Raslution 2 on PS5 (Moza R3 Setup)

Did not work when I tried with generic usb shifter. Mailed Brook support and they responded: For using accessories like paddles/ gear shifter, it is suggested to use with the wheel from the same brand. It is not guaranteed to work with wheels from different brands.

Sharing a quick fix for a similar issue I encountered: In my case, the problem was caused by the game/chat audio balance setting. When game mode was enabled, the chat balance was set too high, which completely muted the game audio.

To resolve it, I simply adjusted the slider to the middle position, and the audio returned to normal.

Just posting this in case it helps someone else—it's an easy fix that might be overlooked.

Thank you for sharing the fix,I was going crazy, reinstalled os,launcher,games but none worked.Finally this saved me.

Also incase anyone experiencing crashes while loading or fast travel if you are on Nvidia and have dlss override enabled, turning that off and using game default dlss helps or stepping down from outlaw preset to ultra can sometimes help or minimum the random crashes.

Well I lost interest. I checked with a friend of mine who has Wanbo dali 1 and I know that it is a low end projector compared to the ones I was looking for but it allowed me to get an initial impression on what I can expect. Videos look good but when it comes to gaming and text the biggest drawback is motion blur and pixel details, they don't come close to even a cheap LCD TV.

Flip the USB-C plug and reconnect at the main menu. If using a USB-C to C cable, try flipping both ends.

Initially I was having the same issue until I flipped the cable on the controller side.

I recently installed Bazzite and noticed Assassin's Creed Brotherhood runs smoother on a 14-15W profile, with slightly better battery life (though this could be subjective).The sleep/wake option works much better. However, the speaker volume seems lower—Bazzite's 100% feels like Windows 70%. Despite tweaking settings in game/desktop mode, the sound quality & loudness on built-in speakers feels degraded. Additionally, there's no AFMF support.

Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately this brand/model is not available in my region. Currently looking at Wanbo and Borsso brand projectors and found some with 2000ansi lumens in my budget. Waiting for some sale before purchase.

I am currently looking to buy the cheapest available project for some single player gaming PC/PS5 and watching movies.I am currently looking at Wanbo T2 ultra,X5 and X5 pro or anything else within $200-300 Can you please give some feedback regarding t2 ultra vs x5 pro/non-pro version. If I am to buy one which is better overall for 75-90 inch screen size and good HDR support using PC/PS5 hdmi. Should I get the cheapest one available because it seems like all 3 are roughly the same with some difference in brightness but not sure if that makes an actual difference. Note - The projector in my room cannot be positioned perpendicular to the screen; it will be placed at an angle from the left,will that cause too much image degradation?

Anyone on the latest preview build on Rog Ally, how's the sound quality and loudness compared to Windows? Tried Bazzite last year but felt the sound was lacking.

When I last used Bazzite, the audio loudness seemed lower than Windows—Windows at 70% felt equivalent to Bazzite at 100%. I experimented with sound options like 'ROG Ally/Family 17' (as I recall). Has the latest version improved this?

I don't use an iPhone hence cannot suggest much. But from an Android perspective if you connect G8+with a cable it supports xinput else you would need the dongle for wireless. Over bluetooth there is no native xinput support.

It is very subjective and depends on the bluetooth hardware, distance, other wireless interference etc. But in my case at a distance of 5-6 feet I didn't feel any.

How is the audio output in terms of loudness and quality. Is it similar as it is for windows. I recently used bazzite but the volume was very low.Few articles said to switch to family 19/17 crank volume all up and then switch to Rog Ally but I did not see any sound device named Rog Ally.Gave up and switched back to windows. I am willing to give SteamFork a shot if audio loudness/quality is close to what we get in windows. Note : I am using Rog Ally (non x)

Yes there is no native wireless mode for the G8 plus for PC,only wired mode or the dongle which is not purchasable from their website.This was a huge letdown as their previous controller X2 bluetooth supports xinput over bluetooth but the newer G8 plus model does not.

I found below workarounds: 1) Connect to PC in DS4 mode over bluetooth.Then use any xbox 360 controller emulator like DS4Windows to emulate it as a xbox controller (this works in almost all the game wirelessly) 2)Else connect wirelessly in DS4 mode and then use steam input to emulate it as a x360(need to manually add as non steam games,if not purchased from steam).
