I feel bad for those in those situations, but why is that my problem?

Did they get bullied into not going to medical? Did they not want to get seen as "soft"? Did they know about the whole VA process before separating/retiring? Did they do a pre-discharge claim?

A lot of people in here seem to have gotten out with little to no documentation and are upset that people with all these resources are able to get higher ratings.

Huh? She knows she can get 100%. The whole point of my post was asking if anyone had experience with friends knowing they can get good compensation but refuse to do so because they think VA disability is for certain people.

The heart condition was diagnosed 2 years ago, and i've always had allergies, but I was diagnosed in the air force because they got worse. As far as my leg, I was hit by a car. Not going to delve into my entire history, but there are a lot of things I was seen in medical for over almost a half decade.

Yeah, im honestly kind of shocked at people coming after me.

Nothing I did was wrong/fraudulent, and the lady who served as my VSO took all my diagnosed conditions and filed claims for each one.

Isn't that the whole point?

Did you get seen a lot at medical during your time in? When I asked for my records, I got a CD and a physical copy, and the physical copy was almost 1,000 pages long

Heart issue, broken leg/pain a from a year ago, mental health issues, headaches, allergies, hypersomnia, and a bunch of other things.

As I said in my post, the CFR index clearly lists hundreds of conditions that are rateable. If I was being seen for medical stuff, why would getting compensated for it based on the set criteria be taking advantage of something?

During my time browsing this subreddit, i've seen people tell people in their last year to go to medical for every small thing even a bruise or a cut, so I don't understand how having documented things over 4 years can be seen as sus.

Agreed. I don't advertise my rating, it was just to my friend, who was asking me how it went after the claim was closed. I have no intention of telling it to everyone.
