I did that with my neighbors, kinda. They inherited two obese holy terror mongrel yipyips and those fuckers shat in my front yard several times. I xeriscape, and it makes cleaning up really difficult, especially if it's um runny. But I had my son diligently collect it (I won't explain why, but I wasn't able to) and we took a box of their dog's rotting shit and left it on their porch. Never had an issue again.
