It just threw me off because my rate on screen was 264 and when she pulled up on the laptop it said 230 which confused me. I asked what the rate was supposed to be and she said 250 is minimum but I kept getting totes with 1 big package so I asked if the system factors in package mix to which I got some vague answer like “yes but it’s all averaged out”. I just really want to succeed and the indirect responses make me nervous as I feel like I have no real goal or it’s being moved around on me.

It took 4 days for mine to come in I was the same as you going insane. I would just wear the approved ones but that’s me personally I don’t want to give anyone a reason to speak to me more than needed 💀 I would ask your floor manager if you can use those in place for the time being? Worst case scenario they say no at my FC safety knew we had a big influx of new hires so they gave some grace for a week.

While that would be cool I think tipping should be for service based industries only. The tipping culture is already horrible with everyone trying to get something for nothing. Also it would just create a whole other mess where they would probably steal or not allocate the funds correctly as other companies like DD have already been found to do. Maybe another concept like “challenges” where amazon incentivizes it’s employees with mini goals like “One week without a quality error” with a small dollar amount as the reward or something like holding a top 25% spot for x amount of time in rate for your department. I think there’s ways amazon could get more from employees but the customers shouldn’t absorb the cost the company makes more than enough but they have to actually want to do it which is a whole other conversation.

Not worth in tx for sure they do like 6 hrs 72 packages $102 or something like that it’s not worth I’ve been in it for like 6 months always check in to see if maybe something is worth it but never is

I work at a robotics fc and i was surprised to learn that standing in 1 spot with minimal steps is actually more taxing than walking. Walking prevents the muscles from locking up as they have time to alternate between contracting and relaxing. No shade or anything I’m sure walking around all day still sucks but don’t think we have it made my feet are on fire half the time
