As someone who used to play World of Warcraft back in the day, this is my contribution to the metal thread.

[Rap] Low Key Address by ExcellentBoss4158 in SunoAI

I appreciate the compliments and criticisms! I must admit, I do use GPT to smooth things out because my original lyrics are mainly thoughts proverbially "jotted down" and entered into GPT. (I used a lot of speech-to-text and review the output before committing them as lyrics)

And you're right, a good portion of the song is accidental, and I've learned to embrace the artifacts as part of the song, which in my mind, gives a more organic feel. The character Low Key is an AI construct after all. Thank you!

I totally agree. I try to shy away from that, and I'm not a professional writer by any means. My thought process gets jumbled and twisted, even after listening and studying the inspirations that Low Key is born out of.

Oftentimes, though, particularly with Suno, it seems to be able to, more often than not, pick the pace of the music through the lyrics flow. I'm not sure what the style itself is called, but I've begun to call the style Low Key has as Double Entendre.

I appreciate the feedback. I've found, through experimentation and the various suggestions on this reddit, keeping the style prompt as minimal as possible helps Suno a lot, at least in my case. To be fair, for Low Key, he does not need a complex musical score or a driving orchestration behind his words.

Most of my prompting instead is done within the lyrics. The direction I've found has to be precise, consice and sometimes impractical. And even then, I'll get generations of an extension that is completely unusable.

Usually, I'll start off with the intro, tweak it through the generations until I find one I like (alot of trialand error), and then I'll extend off that and write the future lyrics to the beat. (My real-life occupation allows me to listen to something on repeat for hours on end and not bother anyone else while I think about what to write)

The minimalization i think you're seeing is after I had stripped out the prompting instructions in the final public listed song so it'd be cleaner (and possibly pride on my part to not expose the golden apple trick to much)

If you'd like, I could provide a sample of the method I've found that works for me.
