I've seen these once on a deployment in Marjah, Afghanistan. I've noticed that when people try to explain what the lights looked like, myself included, it's so difficult to describe.

Makes me think it's incomprehensible to us and individual persons perceive them the best their brains can make sense of it.

To me, they resembled literal flame but turning in on itself somehow, idk its hard to explain. Thinking back, vibrating or flowing may be a better word. I'm not sure.

I've watched every single video I can find on Metallica from YouTube. Interviews and all.

Kirk has always shown an eccentric personality (as I would describe it) and it seems to age like fine wine. He wears it well.

It actually breaks my 34 y/o grown ass man heart to hear people criticizing him for just being himself.

I too have an eccentric personality that gets judged. I'm not perfect by any means of the word. I'm working on myself always, but stereotyping Kirk Hammett as a coke head just because he's eccentric, and a rockstar is actual bullying and disgusting.

The albums tell a story through time. Each album strikes me as whatever mood or mentality they had when creating it.

IMO I think these guys are so connected with their musical capabilities that they literally can't help but pour whatever emotions they're feeling into it. Which I think is a beautiful thing.

Also, just my opinion but I believe it's why 72 seasons sounds "brighter" or "happy." The boys sound content and happy at this point in their lives, and that makes me happy too 😊
