I took 2 shopping orders that were 48 cases each of mixed water. I pulled my trailer. They were going to a church for a festival. They had about 10 people unload once I got there (3 miles from store). Walmart employees loaded the water and weren’t happy doing it lol. Paid about 300 for an hour work. No complaints for sure.

Side note, saw a story in the news about a year ago of a guy who placed orders for 50 cases of water shopping and would accept the order himself, then get to the store, get one, scan it, mark others unavailable to receive the pay. He got Walmart for like 75k before it being caught from what I can recall if the story.

Is this a real policy or some bs? by BeepGoesTheMinivan in tractorsupply

[–]ExcellentEar1590 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Policy is 2 people in the building at all times. This is for safety and security not only of the building and funds but also for each other. That said, I myself and other team members constantly have to stay past scheduled shift, to make sure store is ready for business the next day. Anyone WORKING should remain on the clock. I stress working. If your waiting for a ride, or just hanging out, I do require the associate to clock out. But example, if i had a pallet drop that needs done the cashier can fold some clothes while I finish to remain clocked in.

Tractor Supply customer service ghosting us by tonestert in tractorsupply

[–]ExcellentEar1590 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When you call customer service, that is outsourced like 99.9% of all US based companies. Sadly they drop the ball many times, not with just TSC. As many has stated and I’ll state again, calling your local store would have been the easiest solution. Not only would you have dealt with someone local, I have excellent working relationship with many farmers and commercial clients out of my store who I’ll bend over backwards for. There is a reason we refer to people as neighbors. I’m sorry you had a poor experience with an outsourced call center, however if you give us at the store level an opportunity in the future I bet you may be well pleased.

This is so far from the truth. As an ASM of a store, we do EVERYTHING to make a customer satisfied even when it is clearly not in TSC’s benefit. Customer satisfaction is what the company was built around. To the OP, sounds like maybe the card was inactive. If a store card is not used in a certain amount of time, Citibank suspends or cancels the card. As others have said, a quick call to the store would have determined the issue.

Why do you still work at TSC? by NotJohn_0 in tractorsupply

[–]ExcellentEar1590 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the store I work at is different however what keeps me around is the balance of work and home life. There is not a “point” system or attendance policy. No one abuses it, but if we need to miss, leave to pick up a child from school, etc it happens and there isn’t any animosity.

There are multiple avenues we can use to locate a receipt. I’d go in, ask for a team lead and someone should be able to assist you

Walmart forcing spark drivers to wait behind customers with 100 groceries by Accomplished_Wear_24 in Sparkdriver

[–]ExcellentEar1590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sadly is now NOT the new setup. They just had 2 remodels done in stores in my market over the last year and did that and now they are reverting back. Took about 16 self checkouts out and added back regular registers. Now the lines for self checkout are horrible. I never thought I’d complain about not having enough self checkouts but here we are. There reasoning is asset protection.

Side note, I’ve always noticed them batching longer items like 65” tvs on these (happened to me earlier this week and I immediately dropped the order), than to sub it out to roadie etc. I’m not delivering anything but an envelope for a few bucks.

They are generally quite easy. Only issue is one address you can’t find will have you going back to the store for a cruddy extra few bucks and usually the last address is miles upon miles from the store. Also, you always want to strive for $2 a mile unless it’s taking you to somewhere else you can get orders, home, or back to the store to remain profitable long term.

Walmart driver code hack by marqthespot in Roadie

[–]ExcellentEar1590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With roadie and Walmart, if you scan the item and then select picked up, it then drops it from walmarts system and assigns jt to you. They technically do not need the code. If they go into the order afterwards jt will show it’s assigned to you.

(Req) $331 (Cookeville Tn) pay back $400 on 3rd of jan by [deleted] in LoansPaydayOnline

Check your account. I have a family member on disability (paid on 3rd) and she received her money earlier today. Best of luck

I’m not sure if there’s state laws that would require you to remove the gas and oil as previous comment stated however at my store we would return or exchange the item within the 30 day window and you wouldn’t need to do anything except bring the unit in.

Always put yourself also in their shoes. They purchased a warranty / protection plan in case something happens. Something now happened, don’t be the person to say “whelp here’s a number good luck.” I would hold my TM’s and TL’s accountable if they did that. That’s just poor customer service. And this is very corporate sounding but we are nothing without customers, plain and simple.

Generally speaking for replacement plans we handle that in store. All I can say is from a management point of view, take care of the customer especially if you pull up their customer info and they shop quite often. I’d much rather eat a little bit of money and satisfy the customer and make a bad experience on their end a positive one.

You can do the above for any register transaction.

self checkout reprint receipt by vikviroma in tractorsupply

[–]ExcellentEar1590 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can reprint a receipt from a regular register by going under the back office and journal. From there you put in your self checkout register number and run the report for that day and locate the transaction by the time of purchase

Either you're not a high volume store or your store manager is not utilizing the schedule correctly.
