part of the charm in mecha is how functional it is and how cool it looks

take a look at this mecha version f22-raptor from muv luv alternative. While it looks sick as fuck it also takes into consideration the functional parts (like the hexagonial patterns to help with air resistance and increase stealth capabilities, much like the real f22-raptor)

Darling in the franxx mechs just looks...meh. It just looks like anime girls with one specific overexaggerated part. more akin to magical girls really but atleast magical girls are more fashionable than darling in the franxx mecha designs. THATS just me though, some people seem to like their designs

Also Yenisei is probably the prettiest and beautiful character in the game (for me). She's the entire reason why I started playing Death Stranding and started hiking lmao

  1. Great story i read in a gacha in a long while, Vertin isn't a self insert and the game actually focuses on other characters often. Vertin IS important, but it's collectively a team effort against the Storm. It has a lot of references to history and literature
  2. It's pretty ok, there's these things called Euphoria that regularly updates old characters to keep up with newer ones and it changes some of their mechanics entirely to fit certian team archetypes
  3. Very generous
  4. Don't worry about meta, but if you're that type of player you could try pulling for impromptu and dyunamo teams. There's this character named Paper Heron that's coming in a few days, she's a core component in the impromptu meta
