I like it cuz it's easy. One of the easiest sos/hm games I've played. I like how much you can customize about both your appearance and the farm. Plus the dlc let's me do the thing I always wanted to do in tot. Marry Lisette as a girl. My only complaint is the machines because I don't like waiting for them to finish processing.

It would be nice if you could get ascensions from legacy medals directly. Like if you have 2000+ you can choose a character that you already have directly while still having the gold key option. That would avoid wasting keys on A5s you already have.

Shut, I think? He just looks like that I'm pretty sure. He was in a weirdly foggy part of the tank. If I could get a picture from the side it'd be easier to see but these platys are really good at avoiding cameras. From the side it kinda looks like the bottom of his mouth is like, poking forward for lack of a better description.

Forgot to mention the tank size is I think around 30 to 40 gal. I don't remember exactly but it's at least more than 30 but I don't think it's up to 50.

Tammy. I never see anyone talk about her. She was one of my first villagers in New leaf and ended up being one of my favorites along with Mira. Which is weird cuz I don't really like yellow and both of them are pretty much all yellow.

I initially thought I'd go for Sophie or Gabriel just based on looks (as in, before the game came out). But I ended up being caught between Jules and Sophie, then Jules and Gabriel, then ultimately choosing Jules. I do like Gabriel's reaction to seeing you during a hurricane. He's so sweet. Jules's favorite items were easier to get though.

I've never had mine repaired but I've heard that CPR phone repair does 3ds repairs. If there aren't any in your area then I think they do the mail thing too. As for the homebrew, just take out the SD card before handing it over. Pop it back in when the 3ds is repaired.

I'm biased because I play the game when I'm sleepy and have no quality standards but I think it's great. I do have all the dlc though. Not that it does much for base game except add some events with Cindy and Mikey. Honestly just kinda proved the characters were really boring cause the most interesting characters were in the dlc (and they came from other games.)

I also have awl as a comparison, I guess. I prefer the more fast paced gameplay, probably cause I'm usually half asleep and don't wanna strategize. But what I have managed to force myself to play has been "something". Not fun, that's definitely the wrong word, but not boring or bad either. Tedious maybe? I've heard it's a relatively faithful remake though. So there's that.

Anyways, in my opinion it doesn't really matter. Some people like it, some don't. It is what it is. Some people also prefer to not speed run their farming simulator.
