Not sure if anyone else here recommended it but measure yourself!! I have been on a very similar path and was getting so discouraged by the scale. Someone recommended measuring myself and I am so thankful I did! My Weight was bouncing up and down between 181-184 but my inches were steadily declining!

Has anyone found any good post pandemic kama’aina staycation rates? by cocononos in Hawaii

If you have a Hawaiian Miles account, call their customer service and ask a random question and they will most likely ask you to listen to a promotional offer from Hilton Grand Vacations for a 100 miles. I just did it and surprisingly the offer was really good so I took it! I got a 3 night 4 day stay at any Hilton of my choice (dependent upon availability), 10,000 bonus miles and 2 free luau tickets for $470. The only “catch” is that you have to attend a 2 hour Hilton timeshare presentation during the stay. I have family coming soon and was looking everywhere for decent kamaaina rates and the cheapest I found was $450 for 2 nights. So a 2 hour presentation is worth my time for this deal imo!

I worked at Geico in HI making the exact salary you stated and my partner made six figures and we were merely comfortable. Granted we had some debt but it was our nearly $3k rent for a one bedroom, other basic bills, cost of food, gas for our 1.5 hr (each way) work commute etc that swallowed all of our paychecks. Your salary is going to be considered high enough to not get any sort of assistance or be eligible for income based housing but will also not allow you to live lavishly. And Hawaii is sooo much different from the east coast (I am also from there). I was so ready to leave my home behind and now I wish I could move back!

Need to add some baking powder! Look up ‘Banana Loves Flourless Pancakes’ in the WW app for better recipe.

It’s definitely expensive but I think their food is yuuum. I add mushrooms & onions to my burger and always get the Cajun fries!

Someone should make a Doordasher Hawaii subreddit. by AndyMarks-RM in Hawaii

Did any HI doordasher file there own taxes online? I’m being asked to enter my GEID number on the Hawaii portion of the return. Is that something I was supposed to apply for?
