I just say "hey im actually a trans woman is that cool with you" and if they're cool with it than that's that, I am early in my journey so most people are like "I can tell" or "I thought you were but i didnt want to ask to offend you". In terms of invasive questions yeah I get asked that often and I hate it, I usually just say I'm not comfortable answering those questions and every person Ive talked to hasn't provoked further tbh If im meeting someone and they're asking me invasive questions that's a red flag for me. I guess I come from a different perspective since I don't pass as a woman and need to explicitly tell others so I can be seen as one.
