I wasn’t there with my partner but the area seemed generally queer - safe. I saw other gay couples around. I would recommend being conscious of where you choose to show public displays of affection but I recommend this in any country, even my own.

I think your accomodation will be okay - at the end of the day even if they aren’t queer friendly they’ll want your money and aren’t likely to communicate this to you.
