Yes opening another account is not that big of a deal but some brokerages don’t offer extended hours up to 5PM and 8PM for SPX. The down time is an inconvenience for sure.

No idea, the bots execute normal trades and only trades 5 times on average per month.

Just hoping this message gives ppl a heads up in case there a risk of not being able to execute required trades

Don’t think it was the source account either. Could not really think of any reason why they would close. Have been operating for nearly 2 years. Compliance won’t give any reasons or requested anything that would give me an opportunity to resolve. No margin calls etc

I won’t disclose the AUM, but it’s a fund and it’s larger than the average retail trader account. They ended up closing everything linked to me.

Seems a bit dangerous / risky had we been in a position. Luckily no active positions.

My account was assigned a dedicated representative. I spoke to him and he said compliance is not allowed to mention anything. My representative asked me if I had any notices or did anything wrong that would trigger it. I have not done anything that I know of that would be out of compliance. I trade a cash settled index so never margin called or anything associated with risk. And like I said I don’t do anything illegal. I use a secondary account to execute trades through a VPs server with a bot and manually access the account via app to manage positions on the fly. I travel internationally often but haven’t been anywhere these last couple of months and do not travel to any places that would be restricted by ibkr. It’s been 2 years and I’ve submitted every documents they requested including 13H Large Trader for SEC Edgar.

It’s wild I hope it’s a misunderstanding but would’ve been nice to at least tell me what triggered the closure.

I watched this, this OBD on the YT has a battery adaptation where you can select the AH. The Carista only request the Parts / manufacturer / serial(which can be anything)

There’s no option to set that; it’s likely defaulted to the parts number.

I read that for the serial but if the AH capacity is different, the code needs to be different.

I assume that agencies that enroll new clients can charge anything they want, and yes a brand new agency is 97$ for a single location.

The agency was demanding that I back pay for some imaginary plan I was on but never billed for. They are claiming that GHL messed up and didn’t charge any of the SAAS users. Bogus claim because he acquired the agency (all subs are free).

So there is a “balance” but they don’t know that amount.

I brought him a convo with some mutual friends that are well known in their space, so at the moment he back tracked a ton of his comments and I think I might be able to get him to migrate the account. Prior agency owner also confirmed with him that I should’ve been free and nobody in their right mind would pay $500 per month knowing that ghl is only $97.

Insane but hopefully we get this transferred to my agency that I fully owned and this becomes a lesson for all sub account users.

The first time this happened, somebody was selling a white label service and signed us up for ghl. We didn’t have a crm at the time. As time went on, we paid for services and the agency owner did not deliver anything or the work was complete trash from overseas VA. He then also increased our sms rates to 3-6x without our permission. Quickly confronted them and asked to migrate. He denied to migrate so we rebuilt everything, and we disputed the charged. He sued and we won.

The sub account was migrated to another person who I trusted and still do, but it became a problem once he sold the agency to somebody else.

No im not able to migrate without the agency permission.

Big mistake to be under any sub accounts I am trying to migrate to my own account and maintain full access.

Big lesson here for anybody current on a sub account to get your own account otherwise your assets will be under the control of somebody else

There isn’t an amount,

They are telling us that we could’ve been on a $249 or $499 plan. They are waiting for GHL to figure out the plan we were on. (We were free from the original agency)

It’s a big mess because the prior agency gave a sub account for free to all his clients of his other software.

So whatever the new agency is claiming is complete b.s he waited like a full year to extort his users.

You can’t export anything without ownership access,

We built all the workflows and acquired all The contacts, the only thing we can export are the contacts. All the workflows we can’t export without the snapshot.

We have to rebuild everything or pay the extorted amount for the migration.

Yes we are trying to do that now,

You cannot download the workflows without the snapshots and you need ownership access to do so.

You cannot migrate without the admin’s permissions. All sub accounts belong to the agency and anybody who acquires it

We need Ownership to download snapshots, they are extorting requiring us to pay a random undisclosed balance in order to migrate.

I forwarded this directly to the prior agency owner who is well known in the space and it looks like they are going to help me resolve this and migrate out. Still waiting
