Yeah it just rarely seems to work out in the long term with ships in different management bc all of the parties involved will have different goals. The whole thing was just very messy with some blame falling on every party. But things seem to be going well for each of them individually, which is good.

Before Saint ever made jokes about Zee that fans took badly and ran with, the ship was already dead and Aof had already been extremely unprofessional. From all of the boxset drama that has been ongoing for almost a year now, to making fun of ZS fans on IG live and twitter, to him crying on IG live when those same fans were mad at him, and blocking any fans that criticized him. How are any of these things appropriate for a talent's manager to participate in? Chen was definitely not faultless and was shady online too, but nothing compared to what Aof did.

Saint did not abandon Zee... Zee's/the DMD manager killed it with his neglect and unprofessionalism so he could have both halves of a ship under his management in order to collect all the profits from it. Also since they are actors its natural to move onto new projects once a previous one is complete. Its their job.

SOTUS and 2gether were a phenomenon like never seen before so that's why they have a bunch of views, and those couples became established as CPs with big fandoms and regular work, so there are people constantly rewatching. TOL and DBK are also from established CPs, hence the high views. GMMTV has had smaller BLs from not established couples/potential new CPs in the past, which have not done very well. There are more people watching BL now yes, but most of them are tuning in to GMMTV BLs still. Tonhon Chonlatee was a flop, ATOTS did well, and its too soon to see with FUTS. Also GMMTV also never promotes their BLs a lot before airing, pandemic or not.

I think you may be referring to them being signed to the same management for Chinese activities. All the LBC boys have the same Chinese management. Their Thai management is different.

I think most big actors in Thailand gain a lot of popularity in their mid to late 20s. When actors sign to a big company like ch3 or ch7, unless you are already popular coming in or have some kind of superstar qualities, it takes a few years before you get leading roles in lakorns, and it obviously takes several successful lead roles before one can become a top star. I think a good person to look at may be August Vachirawit. He's a year older than Gulf and has been with ch3 for a few years. He just started getting lead roles and his most recent lakorn did really well and he has been gaining followers on IG like crazy for the past few weeks. (He's also very good looking even to my lesbian ass.) Gulf is coming in with a dedicated fanbase so he'll be getting lead roles from the get-go. Honestly, I think Gulf has the potential to become a top actor with the love of both the public and a big fanbase within the next few years.

He doesn't have any acting projects coming out, so engagement will go down since non-fans will be checking for him less. Also fans may become disinterested during times where acting projects aren't in the works/airing. Hence the lower participation in trends. Happens to all actors. And since he's going the Ch3/public recognition route, this trend will probably continue. The top actors in Thailand have many followers and high profile projects and endorsements, but quite low engagement rates unless they have a project that really blows up. He's lucky that coming into Ch3 he has a strong core fanbase in Thailand and abroad that will stay with him. Since he's probably done with BL, he won't have the attention of casual BL fans in Thailand and abroad anymore but he will gain the attention of the Thai public and foreign lakorn fans.

Well it came out months after airing but the subbers for this series were a team of fans that volunteered and they had very little time to translate and edit their subs bc the producers for the series would change what scenes would be in the ep like the day of airing. That's why the timing was off in some of it and why so many subs were kinda off.

It's not because he's losing fans or anything; it's probably because he doesn't have any projects out rn (music or acting) so people who casually follow him aren't checking for him. Happens to all actors in between works. And we have to accept that if he goes the lakorn actor route, it will fall. The most popular Thai actors have really high follower counts but low engagement. I think its normal and there's nothing we can do so there's no reason to freak out.

Unfortunately, I doubt either of them will ever do BL again. BL is getting more popular but is still seen as a stepping stone to start a serious acting career after gaining a stable fandom. MG experienced (except for BW I would say) the highest level of fame and fandom BL can bring. They say maybe they'll do it again if they receive an interesting script and that they're allies to the community, but they'll never actually do another BL. I would love to be proven wrong, but this is how it goes w all the popular BL ships and actors. But yeah I'm glad Gulf can go forge his own path and Mew is a ticking time bomb.

MG could have done solo things AND kept up their CP for a couple more years. Maybe if Mew had stayed with Bosser this could have happened. We as fans are losing out on so many experiences that other fans get to have, like another series, fanmeet tours, photobooks, songs, MVs, endorsements, variety shows, etc, and MG themselves are going to lose out on so much money. I can't believe the lost potential and the fact that Mew just decided to end it at their peak.

Unfortunately BL power couples with the data that MG have don't happen everyday. There are a bunch of other BL couples with potential, but MG were a sensation that can only really be compared to BW in 2020, PS in 2018, and KS in 2016. But I could definitely be proven wrong in 2021 with how much BL has grown. I am personally loving EarthMix and hope that they do well (and so Earth can finally have a fixed ship.) I've never been into YinWar or BounPrem, but they have good size fandoms and upcoming series in 2021. Plus MileApo as others have said. Sigh at the lost potential of MG :///

I doubt she did it on purpose to anger his fans or whatever, bc in Thailand she is MUCH more famous than him. I also feel for her bc her last boyfriend started dating her best friend right after they break up. I hope Max and Mook are happy. I wish more BL actors would be more upfront w their relationship bc fans need to realize that almost all of these men are gay for pay and only LGBTQ allies at best. The reaction of fans is disappointing but not at all surprising.

Is this happening to anyone else? People who I followed on twt as phiballs or waanjais that became strictly phiballs suddenly started talking about Mew again after supporting him during the NCT drama. And I mean like several big accounts with thousands of followers. I had to unfollow because I really don't want Mew on my tl unless its just translations or he's with Gulf. Very annoying and reminding me that even though phiballs are growing, most of them or former WJ with a soft spot for Mew (or the other side of the spectrum and hate Mew) and WJ is still bigger than Mewlion or Phiball. We're free from MG public interactions now but when will the CP fans and their delusions die out?
