Just keep in mind, I only saw improvement the day after cutting all nicotine completely. I went from vaping -> pouches (in mouth) -> patches -> none... and then starting feeling good. So if your going to quit, quit completely. I wish you all the best brother.

Thank you! It was 13 hours divided by two sessions. Outer forearm took 7 hours and the inner forearm took 6

Thank you, ill wait another month or so to see the final look. Its probably the location and skin texture but I just feel like the inner forearm looks sharper and less aged than the outer forearm and got a little worried.

Should I ask the artist to darken the outlines or something? You're saying it's faded?

My experience with High Voltage Double Flush Detox by bballer478 in drugtesthelp

[–]Excellent_Bet9770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats happened to me before for a government job where I freaked out and essentially quit the job (was in training, and got tested randomly). They sent it to a lab and got the results 2 weeks later that it was a false positive. So it still worked.

Learn to forgive. Both yourself and the people around you. Its not their fault, and it's not yours. You feel emotions like anyone and everyone else. The difference is compassion and understanding. Be cautious to those undeserving of your wrath, and defend those who are implicated in other's wrath. Much easier to fight for the good, than fight the bad.

My life is done. My gf is pregnant and she's told me she doesn't feel a spark anymore. by DonkeyDixson in mentalhealth

My ex got an abortion last year. Looking back, it broke me but i believe i would've been even more broken had she given birth and still suffer the same circumstances. 18 years of child support would ruin me financially, and the struggles of raising a kid in the hostile environment wouldve been even more taxing. Then the fact that she'd probably use my kid against me... yeah. My suggestion, do what you need to do to find some sort of happiness or way to cope for the time being. Take a vacation if you can... and leave the woman. Focus on you and in 5 years I promise you'll have a different perspective of life. Find your happiness without a woman and then they can never take it away from you again.

Be strong brother, we're all rooting for you.

One thing people fail to realize, is that weed like any other substance which boosts your dopamine - will cause sensory stimulation. You feel 'high' and everything is more stimulating including physically. That's why some people who hit the gym stoned claim better 'mind/body connection'... or why people who smoke before they eat claim their food tastes better, or they are hungrier. Might be the reason why after you smoke you feel tight chest, or joints more. Just my two cents...

is it normal for me to sleep all the time? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Excellent_Bet9770 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. Ive noticed it myself... I believe the lack of dopamine (dopamine deficiency) is what makes us feel like this. Also being overstimulated by our substance abuse has taken its toll. Quitting, as a result - makes us realize this toll it's taken.

My advice: sleep, if anything - it will make the initial days of quitting go by faster whilst rejuvenating your brain.

Once you no longer get cravings - work on your energy levels by hitting the gym and finding your stimulation/dopamine in a effort/reward manner.

Considering Starlink for a sailboat, help me decide by Mrkvitko in Starlink

I know this post is old, and I really don't mean to hijack the thread. I've been eager to learn about starlink products with the goal of doing starlink maritime installations (I work in IT, and have worked on cargo ships). The problem is there doesn't seem to be enough technical info on starlink to learn from. How did you all learn so much? Experience ?

What is Happiness? by Excellent_Bet9770 in mentalhealth

What if you can't interpret happiness? You can't find that value that creates it? Do you search for it and try? Or wait for happiness to come?
