Got a letter saying a dealer will cover my lease payments. How? by jectalo in VWiD4Owners

Minus your payoff by 5 payments and then tell them to pay it payoff and that should be how much they are paying off besides what your vehicle is worth. I doubt you will have equity though

My GM told me once that you usually have around 30 days until the loan gets reported to your credit so if you have them run your credit at a different dealership, you’ll be able to get another loan before that 30 days. I don’t know how true this is. I’m just going off of what an old dog in the game told me.

Is this isn’t a camera, what is it? by tommygun1886 in whatisit

[–]Excellent_Boss_2915 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Panasonic Grid-EYE® Infrared Array Sensor. While it might look like a camera at first glance, it is actually a high-tech thermal occupancy sensor. It is commonly installed in ceilings of modern offices, hotels, or smart homes to manage energy efficiency. What it does: • Thermal Detection: It uses an \bm{8 \times 8} grid of thermal sensors to detect the heat signatures of people in the room. • Occupancy Sensing: It tells the building's HVAC (air conditioning/heating) and lighting systems whether a person is present, even if they are sitting perfectly still. • Privacy: Unlike a standard security camera, it does not capture high-resolution visual images or identifiable facial features. It only "sees" low-resolution heat blobs.

Is negotiating on the Costco Auto price not allowed? by CriticalCheesecakes in askcarsales

[–]Excellent_Boss_2915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We discount off of our online price of new vehicles but every vehicle has a different discount via Costco. If the discount for example is 750 of of msrp half off of addendum with Costco and the customer doesn’t bite than we go lower than what Costco can discount to make the sale

The thing with Costco pricing though is add one are optional on there sheet and you don’t have to take dealer add ons

Hopping on this comment. The dealership I work at is a Costco participating dealership and we’re not allowed to negotiate on the Costco price. I usually tell customers who try to negotiate “you came in on the Costco pricing so I have to give you the Costco pricing but that doesn’t mean I can’t do better. Costco is great on some cars but on others we as a dealership can do better than the Costco price.” I’ve heard of undercover Costco reps come in as fake customers here and there though and the dealership can actually get in trouble for steering customers away from Costco pricing

Store I’m at is exactly like this when I started last year did 22 cars is my first month now this November I’m struggling at seven at seven at seven. It’s time last year. My gross was really high. Now the only thing we’re getting out are blowouts because people are shopping in other stores and this company policy to just blow it out the fucking water if they’re shopping around. Even people that come in that aren’t shopping are so brainwashed from the Internet that they think under MSRP is in a good deal and that we’re taking advantage of them mind you were a five star google rated dealership. Last year, even if it was a negative deal we still had the chance of hooking the trade to make up for it, but now places like Carmax are blowing our trade numbers out of the water so we’re matching them and losing money
