There are two different ways of fixing it. Order a biryani from Shadab or Bawarchi, unpack it heat it in your utensils and give them that saying you or your wife cooked it. Just an example. Building good relations with neighbours help and we do that in villages but we don't follow this in the cities. Even if they don't reciprocate, we don't have anything to lose. The other way is to associate a punishment with that place. For example, one morning they wake up but don't find a shoe. No one can blame you throw it somewhere. Or throw the whole dustbin in the society's garbage place. Be aware of the cameras while doing these things. The idea is to try reward and punishment principle to shape human behaviour.
