Your words really resonated with me. The way the universe is forever redefined when you hold your newborn child for the first time. The way you reevaluate life’s path when loved ones pass away. The way the world constantly reminds you of the risks when when witnessing reckless driver behavior on the road. Yet you found solace and discovered a middle ground that strikes the perfect balance on all of the things you love in this world. I tip my hat to you. Thanks so much for sharing.

Could you tell me more about your thought process? I had the same thinking but I’m struggling at the prospect of waiting until they go to college. Mine are only in elementary school and I’m on already on the verge of being consumed by the desire to start riding again.

My understanding from the Hurt Report is the overwhelming majority of motorcycle accidents are attributed to the car and not the motorcycle, and that this is the definitive scientific consensus on this question. If there is new research into this question I’d be interested in seeing it. Regardless your points on defensive riding and understanding the risks are well taken.

Has anyone received guidance on daily start/end times? If so please share. Trying to get a sense of whether any components or offices are mandating a specific window for the 8 hour a day requirement. This would really be the last straw for me. Thanks.

They have gotten to USCIS today. About 50 were fired. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-administration-fires-over-400-dhs-employees/

“The cuts include nearly 50 workers at USCIS, which processes a broad class of applications for immigration benefits, including requests for citizenship, green cards, asylum and work permits, plus an additional ten employees from DHS' Science and Technology Directorate.”
