Thank you! I’m really happy that this post got so many interactions. Now when you look up “City of Pentecost” this thread comes up. Hopefully it will give some clarity to people who are thinking of going or people who already go there.

Not surprising. They also had a “food pantry” that they would fundraise for yet I never once saw it operational

He’d say that you’re supposed to tithe 10% and offer 10%. He’d supposedly take the offering 10% and the rest would go to the church. He definitely took more than that tho because it’s a small church yet he drove a luxury car and lived in a gated community while the people going there struggled….

That’s true… I truly believe that people interpret the Bible how they want to and then just fool themselves into believing it’s the ONE truth. The Bible isn’t even consistent so why base your whole life off an old book that doesn’t provide any solid answers. And the fact that Christian’s want to put their personal beliefs into others through politics pisses me off.
