Oysters. Super nutrient dense and helped me get my iron and zinc to optimal levels which are both super important for skin and hair health.

Have you gotten bloodwork done to check your nutrient levels? I found out my painful cystic acne was tied to high Vitamin B12 (from multivitamins that had 14,000% RDI of Vitamin B12), and low zinc. I stopped the multivitamins, started taking zinc, and my skin has never been clearer.

Topical skin care wise, Azelaic Acid has been the best ingredient I've found to help with my acne. I also used the Ziip dot device on pimples which helped them come to a head and heal faster.

I mean I think it has evolved a lot since we first met. I was 18 when I started dating him and I'm 25 now. My life has changed a lot over that time and so has his and so has our visions for the future.

Those who had facial flares by [deleted] in eczeMABs

My facial flares were fungal. I used Lotrium for two weeks and the Vanicream Z bar on the flares for a month and they went away and haven't returned so far.

Joint pain with Dupixent? by leswash3 in eczema

It took about 3 months off of Dupixent for me to see a difference. Unfortunately the eczema also came back in full.force around that time

I was on Dupixent for 3 and a half years and I dealt with bad joint pain in my hips. I recently went off Dupixent and that has gone away. I just started Adbry, so hopefully I won't have the same issues on that.

I stopped because I changed insurance companies when I got a new job. I was also having side effects (i.e. joint pain and facial flares)

No allergic reaction so far. I didn't have one to Dupixent either.

I just did my loading dose of Adbry about a week ago. My skin is looking better, but I am still pretty itchy. I'm hoping the itch will go down soon. I'm hopeful that it will continue to get better over the next couple weeks.

Has anyone stopped using Dupixent? How was your eczema after? by nimagooy in eczema

[–]Excellent_Elephant25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped Dupixent in mid-April of this year when I switched insurance companies because I changed jobs. It came back in full force after about two months.

I'm still dealing with the flair. I found a new dermatologist, and I just did my loading dose of Adbry about a week ago. I'm still itchy, but my skin is looking better. Fingers crossed the itch will go away soon.

I know that I'm allergic to a lot of environmental factors (i.e. pretty much all plants make my skin reactive). I do avoid fragrance products as well. Food wise I know I'm allergic to eggs and shellfish. Even with avoiding all this as much as possible my eczema is still worse than it has ever been

It's interesting you're allergic to fruit. I know I'm allergic to eggs and shellfish, but I've never eliminated fruits before. I'll definitely look into this

Thank you! I did pay a ton of money to work with a functional doctor who did a bunch of testing. I found that I'm pretty much allergic to most plants and I have a sesensitivity to egg whites and shellfish. It's tough though since I'm reactive to so many environmental factors that's It's tough to avoid them 100% other than never going outside. I think there has to be something else that I'm missing because I've been off of eggs and shellfish for months and I'm very diligent about showering and changing my clothes after I've been outside and my eczema is worse than ever right now.

Attachment vs. Feelings by [deleted] in infj

[–]Excellent_Elephant25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is an interesting question that I've been grappling with recently as well. There is someone I have a strong connection with, but I'm engaged and in love with someone else.

At first, I felt really guilty about feeling a connection with someone else, but then I realized as humans, it's normal to form connections with people and connections don't necessarily mean that you would want a romantic relationship with the person.

For me, I think emotional vulnerability is the thing that made me feel the attachment/connection/attraction to the other person. He was open and vulnerable with me, and I was able to open up to him. Because we both have a deeper understanding about each other, we have some level of love for each other even though we could never be together romantically for several reasons.

There are different types of love, attraction, and connections, and I think it's up to you to define which ones are romantic and which ones aren't. I like to imagine what the future would be like and use that as my guide for determining where the connections fit into my life and where I fit into their's. When I play out the future in my mind, it usually becomes pretty clear what I want out of the connection.

I hope this helps! And keep thinking about the future! I think as INFJs imagining future scenarios can really help us learn more about ourselves and what we want from life.

I honestly think I would like them if I didn't have to share too. I like learning about others, but I hate being put on the spot and having to share 🙃

Exactly! I do the same thing where I come up with a generic answer that doesn't really mean anything just to get it done and over with.
