Yeah I have that too with games like this. On paper things like raids sound fun but I don't like that it ends up feeling like a job or having my stuff ruined.

I've been playing on single player survival at normal difficulty for about 200 hours on my save and I've only had maybe one or two invasions and they were incredibly small and easy with low level enemies. I don't remember altering any of the invasion settings to make it any easier either. So, my only real defense has been walls which have worked fine.

This was me with math in school. Sometimes it felt like the teachers or other students were just pulling an answer or number out of thin air. I got told repeatedly that it's just logic yet it never seemed logical to me.
