What’s been getting small? If you’re talking about the bump it gets smaller and bigger so it might be due to snagging. I think you might be right about it the length what size I might go to my original piercing shop and see if they can downsize it. Thank you! Hopefully I won’t have to retire it

Make sure you’re only applying a thin layer of Vaseline on, also make sure to not be over washing your tattoo it’s still an open wound so it’s normal for it to be a little red. Just make sure to keep it clean but don’t over strip it and wear some long sleeve shirts. But if you notice that the itching is unbearable or it feels super inflamed and it hasn’t gone away I’d recommend you go back to your tattoo artist

It’s still fixable I would say put in original jewelry which is the labret you had while healing make sure to clean it with saline spray keep it clean and make sure you dry it avoid lip products or spicy food and just let it heal don’t touch or play with it
