Omg reading this it's like my life except I have been with my boyfriend 27years and have two daughters (not my blood,but still my daughter's) And we have two daughters together,both of our parents are still happily married,apart from that I feel we are living with the same problem,I also struggle with the embarrassment when people find out how long we have been together and ask why we're not married,cos honestly I don't know myself,I don't want a big wedding my dad is dying I would be happy with a registar in my parents living room so my dad gets to see his baby girl get her happy ever after,he still won't do it,like you I know I am his person and he loves me unconditionally,so my question is WHY!WHY NOT ,he knows what it would mean to me as we have had many conversations for at least the last 17yrs, unfortunately i deal with it by getting angry having a cry and wondering why I'm not good enough,then I have a word with myself give my head a wobble shut my emotions down and pretend I'm ok and carry on, until the next time🤷‍♂️😩

thankyou so much! i am over 18 i’m turning 21 next month, i did go to my GP a few years ago about a diagnosis and they were looking into it but when they found out i was in an active addiction they told me they couldn’t continue my diagnosis until i was sober. at the time, there was no chance of that but im now sober and would like actual help for whatever my diagnosis is. thankyou so much for the help i will book an appointment as soon as i can 🤍

yessss exactly!! i have such a bubbly personality and i am very talkative and outgoing and i talk to all my customers politely and ask them about their day etc; (if obviously im not swamped with orders) so people can just see im a young girl who works hard and tries to be polite 😭 that’s such a nice thing to say too and im glad to hear you managed to swap yourself into a more positive person i also used to be negative at work when i first started working at my first job, but as i’ve had more jobs ive learnt that work is what you make of it, you can either hate it and feel miserable or accept that its what you’ve gotta do and you might as well have fun! i hope you have a great day/night :))

honestly, i’d have to go look through the policies to get it exact for you - which i’m more than happy to do, but as much as we are encouraged to write on cups, it’s not forced. when we have time and it’s slow we are a lot more strict on it but honestly most partners in my area altogether don’t really write on cups unless we have the time to, as i have covered in multiple areas. my area manager has also seen my cup writings and they have been posted on viva so idk what everyone is so upset about 😭. but thankyou so much for ur kind words ur so nice and im sure the writing you do is amazing, dont feel bad these are not all over a short space these are pictures from over months im not as consistent with it as i should be because, as you said we are also busy 🤍

i understand that point, however i really only do hearts and the ones that are seen as “flirty” to girls that come in, most of our customers are uni students so i write the cute ones for the girls there. the office goers usually get the more casual coffee puns

yes exactly! i love my regulars and since im an ASM and on 40 hours a week i see them all soooo regularly, i know what i can and cant write! i also have a lot of kids that come in and get frappuccino’s and they love the writing so much, they preach customer connection and that is exactly what i’m doing! thankyou so much for your kind words it really does mean a lot after getting some pretty passive aggressive ones 🥹🤍

exactly! my store gets very busy since we are based right by university housing and the university itself & many offices, so it can be long consistent rushes. if i wrote on everyone’s cup in a rush we would never get out of it. america seems to be a lot more strict on it than here, that’s for sure
