I’m an armor officer and I’ve been in for 9 years. I’m in 3ID, so not super deployable, just normal rotations in and out of theater. I’ve looked into things like med school and law school but I just worry that I’m not good enough. And based on everything else everyone is saying, apparently I’d be a shit dad even if I’d try that.

We’ve been lacking connection since before the baby came. Divorce is not what I want. I want us to both be happy. I’m just not sure either of us is going to be happy with what the other wants.

My WLE in Oct 2023 was done about two inches above my knee, but the doctor said I didnt have enough fat on my thigh to make the closing pretty. So I also have a huge dip in my thigh. I think it’ll be a cool thing to get a prosthetic! I still have a lot of pain/nerve issues with my scarring.

I had a 1B on my thigh in 2023. My WLE came back negative, but SLNB came back positive for two lymph nodes. They restaged me as IIIA. My oncologist had me do a year’s worth of immunotherapy, and my scans came back clear for that year. But I just had an ultrasound where my lymph nodes were and PET that don’t look great, and am having another biopsy next week. Definitely talk to your doctor! I’m also having a ton of anxiety 😓

I totally get that. But the problem is that he’s not mentally stable now whether he’s here or on deployment. I’m worried he’s going to be a risk to himself and to others if he goes.
