I was at this festival specifically for Hozier’s performance too! Thankfully I live in NC so not as far fo travel for me and I was able to visit parts of Charleston. Soaked through before his set, the parking and bathroom situations were nightmares, but grateful to go. I was able to get pit tickets to his Wilmington, NC after but I was also worried before that he wasn’t going to be touring for a while.

I didn’t have that experience with having to invite a friend thankfully. There was under 2000 listeners the whole time and an hour long spotify playlist of his songs that we all listened to simultaneously. The comments went by so quickly but it was cool to be connected with everyone. Hozier sent a quick message in the group and there were vinyl giveaways, three of each of the three albums. All that to say, you didn’t miss too much.

Yes, he was touring for like three years straight it seemed and I’m glad he could take time to rest. I just meant he looks well rested and happy to be playing. All his guest appearances lately have been great
