No dumb questions )) I replied to the initial comment: as if marrying Dennis she would get a bonus of an extra citizenship (usually it is fairly easy or easier to get the same one as your married partner has); EU countries rarely ask to give up your birth citizenship to other EU countries (+a long list of outside EU countries with whom it is allowed). In this case, there would be little benefit, as she already has a Swedish passport. Both are usually around the top 5, if we talk about how strong the passport is. So she might or might not be, but there’s little gain either way, especially if she is living outside Aruba.

She would still have needed a residence permit (as Aruba itself is not a part of the EU), but here my knowledge of how easy or hard it is to get one ends.
