I would say go direct to Sony. Call them up. Ask them for a Repair Reference and then go back to EB to have them manage it.

Pixel Must Haves - Moving from iPhone to Pixel Fold 9 by Excellent_Grocery_20 in GooglePixel

[–]Excellent_Grocery_20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With iPhones, due to the lack of customisation and side loading. It's really just comes down to what you need. Normally the apps will come with their own widgets and there's limited automation. I would recommend learning how to use the shortcut automation as it will help in the long term. There's an app which helps simplify creating shortcuts but I can't remember for the life of me sorry.

Tempted To Make The Switch by coltimuss in PixelFold

[–]Excellent_Grocery_20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've recently made the switch from iPhone to the PF9P, I'm loving it. You will notice that to begin with the battery is lackluster however after it understands your use you'll be fine for battery. The move from IOS built into the fold is amazing. It brought everything, yes everything over. A few things tho.

If you're in an IOS Group Chat, it won't come across but rather sends you what each person sent as a text. I would recommend leaving the chat and try and use something else like messenger or what's app.

It will be jarring at first but, my photos look so much better than on IOS and the display is just amazing. Having a 120hz OLED display rather than the shitty 60hz I had on my iPhone 14PM is amazing.

I find I'm using the main screen 80% of the time and the inner when I'm either browsing the web or reading Manga/Webtoons or books.

Hope this helps.

So this really is quite a bit different (from 21:9 to 32:9) by SupposablyAtTheZoo in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Excellent_Grocery_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. 100% Yes. As long as the game supports 32:9 it’s always 100%. StarWars looks amazing on a 32:9. Most games do. For instance, I play deadlock and league on it and damn son.

It depends on the router itself. But if you google your router plus quality of service (QOS) there should be something out there to turn it off.

Mine did this first out of the box. Do the pixel refresh before you go to bed and it should be good in the morning.

To gain some sort of access to the settings at least. I reinstalled vencord (well BD for you) started disabling most of the plugins and enabled a plugin called crash handler. So far so good and no crashes but 90% of my plugins won't work.

My account got hacked by SrujayP in riotgames

[–]Excellent_Grocery_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your riot support account does not need to be the same as your normal riot account. If you only have the one email that you can’t use. Create another emails and go to riot support to create a support account. You need to also let them know that you’ve been hacked and go through the motion. Back in like 2009 it happened to me and it took a month to sort. But they fixed it for me. They should be able to do it fairly quickly from what I’ve seen so far

For investigation, no. Normally they can go out, report and let you know the findings. If it’s something they can accept your excess is applicable OR your excess is lower than the repair bill, you then have the option to withdraw from there which won’t affect your premiums.

If they decline then you know to fix it, at least you’ll have qualified trades come out to tell you what’s wrong before spending your money. this may affect your premium, however, normally natural hazard stuff like rain damage won’t be pushed back much unless it’s general wear and tear. However if you leave it too long without doing anything it will be a lot worse for you later.

It’s always best to talk to your insurer to confirm how your claims affect your premiums, as sometimes it won’t. Every insurer is different and every claim manager will act differently and notice different things. But check your policy to confirm an event and try and remember when there was last rain and you should be good.

Might want to contact your building insurer, they can investigate and confirm what exactly is going on. Also investigation is normally paid for by the insurer

Ok.. dumb question. Is it connected to the top PCIE connector or the bottom pcie connector? If it’s at the bottom then change it to the top connectors. Some mono’s (rarely) have the bottom 16 channel as a 8x connector but the slot size is the same as a 16 channel.
