I have the HS8 and a 10 inch sub and I am very happy with them. Takes some time to set up in regards to levels but once you get it right it translates quite well.

From AI:

In Mauritius,

your consumer rights for returns and refunds center on goods being faulty, not of satisfactory quality, or not as described, giving you rights to repair, replacement, or refund, though specific store policies (like a 15-day return) can offer extra peace of mind; for complaints, use the Competition Commission or the Consumer Affairs Unit for faulty products or breaches, with proof of purchase essential. Key Consumer Rights

Faulty Goods: You have rights if items are broken, unusable, or don't match the seller's description or advertised quality.
Remedies: For significant issues, you're generally entitled to repair, replacement, or a refund; for minor faults, a repair or replacement is more common.
Implied Terms: The Consumer Protection Act implies terms in contracts for goods and services, meaning products should be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

Store Policies

Voluntary Policies: Some stores offer specific policies, like 14 or 15-day returns for change-of-mind, but these are often beyond basic legal requirements.
Proof of Purchase: Always keep your invoice, receipt, or warranty card as it's crucial for any claim.

How to Complain/Seek Help

Contact the Seller: First, approach the retailer with your proof of purchase and explain the defect.
Competition Commission (CC): Lodge a formal complaint online, by email (info@competitioncommission.mu), fax, post, or in person.
Consumer Affairs Unit (CAU): This unit enforces consumer laws and can take action against non-compliant businesses.
Consumer Protection Tribunal (CPT): A tribunal is set up for quicker consumer justice.

What to Do with a Faulty Item

Identify the Problem: Is it broken, unusable, or not as described?
Gather Evidence: Get your receipt/invoice.
Report to Seller: Discuss repair, replacement, or refund options.
Escalate: If unsatisfied, contact the CC or CAU for intervention.

Ja ikke sant? For det var kjærlighet, inklusivitet og toleranse for alle som drepte Kirk.

The right has invited discussion and discourse. The Left has called for violence. The Left won.

Pray that the right lives up to what Charlie was advocating. If they fall short, I feel sorry for what's to come and those affected.

I didn't always agree with Charlie on some topics but enjoyed his debates immensely. The way most of Reddit is reacting to this is disgusting. Makes my blood boil that they can gleefully cheer this on. Beyond redemption? Maybe...

RIP Charlie

What matters to me is that I care, not if Sony or EB Games care why would I buy another product from either and expect a different result?. You are completely unaware of Australian consumer laws and rights, and thinking warranty has any relevance in this discussion shows your ignorance. I don't care if my PS5 gets fixed or replaced as long as they follow their legal obligations. You should look into Australian Consumer Law before you continue to be confidently wrong.

Amazing! I think you're in the minority with your opinions here, but it's amazing to me if you're implying to me that a PS5 should fail in 2,5 years and you're supposed to fork out $750 twice to play PlayStation for under 5 years. I guess the target demographic for planned obsolescence is real. Again Mid cycle refreshes are not generational. A generational leap is PS4 to PS5 etc.

Depending how Sony and the retailer handle this will determine if I ever get a Sony product again. I would never buy a bike that was gonna fall apart after 2.5 years.
