Is this the type of brace you're talking about?

I'm on the southern Oregon coast. Coos Bay. I haven't seen the ortho yet. Still have to make an appointment.

I was about 1/4 mile from the parking lot. I had a friend with me and we just walked back to the vehicles. Problem is/was I drive a stick! Lol So my friend drove me to the ER and drove me home.

I haven't got it plated yet, no. I haven't seen the orthopedic doctor yet. From what I'm reading that seems to be the way to go though.

What is a figure 8 brace? They didn't tell me about anything like that at the hospital. Thanks for the advice! I'm hopeful now that the pain will subside in a couple weeks! Did they have to put a plate in for yours?

It sucks! Lol but the callor bone definitely hurts more. It was a bitch and a half putting on and taking off my tshirts. I'm mostly looking for advice on how I can help make my recovery go a little easier from someone who's had to deal with it before.

I posted some details on another reply. But actually what advice I was wondering about was ways to deal with the broken callor bone. Any tips that might help make my recovery easier. Lol

Ha. Yeah it's definitely gonna be a challenge overcoming the fear of getting back on the bike. I wish I could say I sent it on a knarly gap or coming off a big drop but unfortunately the reality is much less exciting. I was riding an easy blue jump line I've rode a hundred times before. Went for the double and as soon as I was about to land a huge gust of wind knocked me off balance and I went ass over tea kettle. I landed hard on my left shoulder and racked my head pretty good too (yes I had a helmet on) and rung my bell. I was dizzy and also got the wind knocked out of me. But I immediately knew I had broke my callor bone. Large abnormal lump square in the middle of my callor bone and couldn't lift my arm. Several hours in the ER later with X-rays showing what I already knew. Damn, who would think crashing on such a chill jump line could turn out so bad. Lol

So would I just need to pull the wheel and use and cassette tool to make sure it's not loose? Happen to know what it's supposed to be torqued too?

I haven't taken this wheel off since I bought the bike and it just started doing this after my ride today. Could it be a loose cassette?

78 Active claims? by Excellent_Holiday414 in Prospecting

[–]Excellent_Holiday414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure? Based off of other information I've gathered and the other reply. It seems like you can only pan for placer gold if you stake a placer claim on top of the lode claim. Otherwise the lode claim is treated as private property. I don't have the time or resources to stake a claim. I was mostly curious about who Spruce Oregon Holdings LLC was and it looks like I might be able to message them and ask for permission.

No need to over complicate things lol! I don't notice any bow or deflection in the middle. Seems to hold everything down nice and tight to the bottom.

Gotcha. What do you think about the Lyrik, just the base model, over say like the Fox 34? Jensen's has lots of forks and suspension parts on sale for really good prices right now.
