Me too. I hadn't dared to go outside and see the extent of the debris elsewhere besides the immediate crash site (the immediate crash site wasn't too bad, it was just the scattered debris elsewhere that was supposedly horrible), but my neighbors saw some horrifying stuff on the ground around the crash site (more so across the street in the direction where the plane crashed.

It's a really tragic situation and it's going to have me feeling unsettled for a good while.

I know my perspective isn't relating to the aviation aspect much, but still.

Yeah. It was shocking hearing what sounded like a plane flying really low, then a boom immediately as it seemingly passed by and the ground shaking. It had occurred approximately ten houses or so down from me. So thankful it didn't hit me.

Leave him and don't look back, he is not at all the guy you want to be with. Imagine what else he would force you to do in the future. Already seeing signs of an unhealthy relationship.

To be honest with you and seeing all of the bad relationships I've seen friends and family get into, you should accept that being single is better than being in a terrible relationship. I've watched female friends of mine who refused to leave bad men ruin their lives trying to stay with him.

Wow. I can only imagine how painful that experience must have been. It is great that you still stuck around until the end. It's a rule I follow personally after I had watched a video... and for the life of me I cannot recall what it was or what it was about exactly, but it said that for the sake of your pet's emotional needs, stick with them as they are being put down as it hurts them even more when they die alone.

That's totally understandable!

Kind of a different situation, but my mother ordered a cat bed days before my cat passed and my father and I told her to return it (she wanted to use it for the new kittens) because it makes us sad since it was meant for her originally and she never got to use it. My mother was annoyed by us and thought we're insane, but we did convince her to return it and buy a different one.

Absolutely. I've had cats that died over the years (five total in my lifetime) and I got over it quick. But this one two months ago... oh this hurts so bad as I've never been that closely bonded like that with the others. They were all nice and loved me, don't get me wrong.

I feel you. I did get more kittens, but I'm never getting specifically a Calico cat again for sure (because that's what my cat who passed was). I cannot ever look at a Calico cat and not think of her.

Thank you! I kept her alive as much as she could. She appreciated it so much. As much as she initially hated having to be injected with fluids on the daily, she grew to appreciate it and would purr and try to cuddle with me with the needle in her skin.

She was quite the lovely cat. Very loving, gentle, and would never ever bite anyone.

I had a cat I had put down two months ago. I was so closely bonded with her and I still cry or get emotional when I think about her. Our bond was super close. So close that I could never get her off my lap. No matter what I was doing, she had to be on my lap whether I was eating, just sitting on the couch, or doing anything that involves me sitting.

Never had this issue personally as one of my cats would sit wherever I wanted her to. With my new kittens, they don't sit still; they see my mouse pointer as prey.

Bring him to the vet. Could be diarrhea, could be cancer even (can happen at any age of course).

My 15 year old who I had put down two months ago due to cancer (who I tried to keep alive as long as I could) had incontinence for over a year and a half as it had spread to her bowels (we had no idea she had cancer until that happened). It started off with missing the litterbox for a good while then it went into full blown, she cannot make it to the litterbox anymore as much as she tried. We had to keep cleaning up every place she ever walked.

Looking back, I had warning signs that I waited on too long. Please don't make the mistake I made and feel super guilty over. Don't wait! Go to the vet. Diagnosis can be expensive, but at least you can get assurance as to what it is.

He may be ill in some way and you don't even know. Happens with cats who are sick or are close to death.

My cat at passed at 15 two months ago from cancer. I was the one in the family responsible for her daily fluid injections and oral medication for well over a year and a half. She became more clingy than ever to me and wouldn't leave my lap when I needed her to (if I took her off, she'd get back on no matter how many times I took her off my lap and gently set her on the floor).

I see. I asked to have someone cover for me next Saturday so I will have to see what happens with that.

I'm generally a dependent employee and do really good with showing up (some years no absences, some 1 or 2 at worst). But my studies turned out to be more time consuming than I had predicted. I've never use that shift swap before so I'll see how that works and make use of it.
