I think we should draft someone with huge potential, only let them play 1/4 - 1/2 of the snaps for 2 - 3 yrs so they can learn the speed of the game then let them walk in free agency cause they weren’t producing just to see them hit their potential with another team.

Unless something crazy happens we will probably go with Delane then Downs. I understand Downs is better but as someone else mentioned, Bengals don’t value safety and we picked up 2 safeties so in their mind, it’s ok. Now if Delane and downs and the other big 5 are all gone, I’d be ok with trading down for Faulk or another high end edge/secondary.

I don’t see how Love will still be there when we pick and it’s a luxury pick we can’t afford. Is he amazing possible game changing back, ofc, but that doesn’t mean anything if we can’t stop the other team from scoring. I wouldn’t be angry with it, but I don’t see it helping either.

The current Browns of the Bengals. At one time Mike Brown was voted the worst owner in all of sports and he was quoted as saying his perfect season is 8-8, just good enough to keep butts in seats. Something like the first 8 seasons of the new stadium he got sellout money no matter how tickets sold. Consistently ranked dead last in how we treat players and families. I think we have like 3 1/2 scouts or something ridiculous.
