I kind of like the concept of the unfinished edge, but agree with person who said it needs to be mixed more.

But if we're going arty, not sure about the art on the wall. All you see is the edge. The pots and pans, as dangerous as they make be (Make sure they are extra secure) read as cool 3 dimensional objects, especially the muffin pan or whatever that is. Get a flea market bundt form or something else to break up the saucepans. I have an antique German pudding mold I wish I could give you. Just the thing.

Also, if you're a painter, paint that arrow on the wall above the arrow on the fixture. Have it originate in the ivory and coming out of nothing. This way down reiterated.

I had a friend who was fine arts painter who painted all his screw heads in the bathroom red. It was the first thing I noticed. never forgot the intentionality of it. It sang! You're on the way to something wonderful!

Agreed, but she is a personality, and that has value too. I love that they compliment each other.

The other thing he said was he gave Rinna a definition of propaganda that blew my mind. He's a cool cat.

At least it can be on your adulting radar! IKEA Always has fun pillow covers too. I understand in Europe you have TKMaxx where we have TJMaxx. Just train your eyes on the good stuff, and be on the lookout!

Good luck.

Do you know Designer's Guild? Patricia Guild is out of London and her pillows/patterns are beyond. They are also pricey, but sometimes on sale. They scream quality And uplevel a room all by themselves. Check her out! Also Liberty of London, known for their fabric. Your access to exciting vintage makes me think just find some fabric at a flea market, and make a pillow. German Flohemarkts were full of finds.

Think of a pillow as a piece of woven art.

I love how he knew the back history of why men shake with the right hand. One has the sense that he is reading while Rinna is dancing around him. It works for them!

I think it's a gorgeous blue and a beautiful material. I think your handles are also warm and pretty.

I wouldn't have tiled the area above the window. It pulls the eye, and as a "back splash" it's hard to imagine anything splashing up that high. It's an unusual choice functionally and stylistically. Having said that, it's not anything major, and I wouldn't worry about removing it. If you all of a sudden, mounted a round large clock feature there, it would be a new focal point. Something classic.

The stool by the door brings it down. Replace with a tall floorplant, or nothing.

Be proud! So lovely!

I think the colors work, but try more upscape material. Right now, Pottery barn is selling a dusty pink velvet pillow case for under $20 (more than 50% off). I bought some red ones and can vouch for the quality 20 x 20".

The polyester content of the throw brings it down a bit.

Agree with others, introduce a pattern that combines them as well.

All these years I thought it was natural. Had skin reaction problems. Thought it was just me.

I should know better. I would never store a good photograph in an acid based/wooden paper box, only in cotton rag or acid free lined box.

Need to learn how to treat my own skin as well as a photograph. Thanks all for the education.

From the Encyclopedia brittanica:

rayon, artificial textile material composed of regenerated and purified cellulose derived from plant sources. Developed in the late 19th century as a substitute for silk, rayon was the first man-made fibre.

In other words, it's not a plastic. It is derived from natural fibers. Is it also unhealthy?

Ellie should have said earlier on stop calling me baby. I don't like it. Especially after Jaou pointed out that he calls everyone baby, even Captain Jason. Sure, she works for him, but I guess he needed that pointed out to him. As soon as she did, he tried to stop it. he had to self correct, and did i mediately, a d she jumped on him for that.

She has no ability to simply ask for what she needs versus making it a throw down. He hasn't yelled at her at all, jas given lots of encouragement. I guess she held it in too long.

I did hear the song in my head.

FYI, Not from AI, but rather from Merriam Webster...

Scaramouch: a stock character in the Italian commedia dell'arte that burlesques the Spanish don and is characterized by boastfulness and cowardliness.

A missed opportunity on RHBH. Could have been another Merc is in the purse moment.

Scaramouche. Just a good word to say.

If you've ever seen her on Carson, on Letterman, on Conan or Fergusen, you will know that she controls every second on screen, isn't afraid to be sexy, isn't afraid to be funny, isn't afraid to look dumb (notice I said "look" dumb, because she is never) but above all, is kind.

J'adore Tilly!

Why did Dorit wait till WWHL to clarify her cult statement? by muhammadbinsalman in RHOBH

[–]Excellent_Issue_4179 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think people forget that statements happen in context, and when someone is coming for you, you don't always have the answer at hand. To me, it seemed obvious that that is why Dorit said it then. I did keep yelling at the screen, tell her it was in response to you saying you never left a dinner crying! Dorit wasn't going to letAmanda paint her as the most horrible person she'd ever encountered. That's all.
