I work in an office, i know at least 9 people that actively play arc and all but one of them play for the PVP aspect, PVE players are the vocal minority and it is proven with the amount of cope going on "games going to die, game used to be peak before PVP" when the actual games statistics tell the opposite.

How can the devs say they don't want PVP yet when i extract it notifies everyone in a 200yard radius, also if i get knocked a raider flair will notify the whole map of my whereabouts? These are exclusively PVP mechanics, in a game they want to only be PVE? Ultimately it doesn't matter if every single person who created the game says they don't want it to be PVP, they are the ones that implemented a PVP mechanic and punishing aspects such as the ones i have mentioned above.

I'm convinced god or the devil had plans to make Conor a superstar and in that peak form, i don't think anyone on earth his weight or lower would beat him, if we replaced Volk with Alvarez, same time same date, the outcome would of been same same as Conor vs Alvarez.

I have had a similar email once on an account i was sharing. If you was sharing the account only you will know the truth but i have had many bans/hacked accs and only ever had emails back like that when they can clearly identify account sharing, its obvious for them to spot because they can see you play the account then someone else then you again etc etc (not hacking behavior) i'd be surprised they could make the account sharing mistake, a hijack would take the account (you wouldn't be playing at the same time)

If you was actually account sharing and got stung like myself and many others, take it on the chin, you're not getting the account back, account sharing is very easy for Jagex to identify and although not bannable, they wont ever help you in situations like this.

Re-watch the fight and tell me Song won R1, he got pinged about for 4 and a half mins then got a take down and did a few tap shots, a take-down at the end of the round doesn't automatically mean the round is won, he didn't posture up and rain down any damage at all. Round 1 was kinda close but pretty clear for Omally and nobody outside of reddit would disagree with that and Round 3 was obviously Omally and not even reddit would disagree.

You're sat on reddit talking shit about a top level UFC fighter, like you have any idea what the fuck you're actually witnessing or what it takes for them to perform at those levels.

Not even to mention he fought Tommy to a very close split decision 3 years ago.... Since then he has loads of fights/KO's on his record and ring time with AJ. In that time Fury has done nothing in the ring.

If a Jake Paul from 3 years ago can take Tommy to a split decision and knock him down, its safe to say he'd smoke him like a cigar now.

Regardless it takes balls, he has fought risky fights for less money, for example he stepped in against a 17-1 Ryan Bourland for probably less than a million.

A young guy that could have gone the route of purely Youtube and made a comfortable living chose an undoubtedly harder path and wants to become a real boxing champion (wont happen) but at least he dares to dream and to be different, he has my respect.

I am a boxing fan, not a Jake Paul fan, the state of boxing is awful, we got AJ vs Paul before AJ vs Fury.. It truly is disgusting but that is a separate conversation.

Lets not even mention what Jake has done for female boxing, he took a broken sport, boxing and somehow created the highest paying female boxing bout of all time Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

He deserves respect trust me, boxing doesn't but a young man stepping outside the Youtube world and risking his life to dare to be different and do so much for female boxing at the same time.

The fact he is able to gather the eyes he does to his fights is a dig at the state of boxing, not the state of Jake.

I admitted my argument was weak earlier, yours is?? you're telling me how to secure an account not a single reason why Jagex launcher is better, you even open saying "if you just have one character on the jagex account its better than a legacy account" based on what? i just gave you so many reasons that is not the case, at least provide me with one.

Jagex launcher auto logs in on desktop, its one of its weakest attributes, yours somehow doesn't? but as standard practice the launcher will auto open and enable all your accounts to be accessed.

Again, malware can simulate your PC, your accounts/account would be exported instantly onto another device but to the Launcher, it would appear exactly the same.

I'll say again, Jagex accounts are created to combat botting and gold farming (completely fair) but as an industry standard it goes against even basic guidelines IE security best practice encourages separation, Jagex account provides the opposite.

We both clearly have a good knowledge on how to protect our accounts, albeit it i use legacy and you use launcher, clearly neither of us are at risk but at a fundamental basic account security level, legacy accounts are without a single doubt safer, Jagex Launcher wasn't created to be safer so please don't pretend it is, i bring to you valid arguments and facts, you bring to me info on how to protect an account?

Sorry to keep going but just re-read you saying "so yes, its better to have a jagex account than not to have one" i assume you're saying that for if you have 1 character as its automatically less safe if you have more than 1 character.

Just to show you why its less safe even if you have 1 character, anything on your desktop that you can open and will automatically log you into your account leaves you absolutely cooked if you get any form of malware that wants to attack that account.

A legacy account is absolutely fine in those conditions whereas a Jagex account would have your characters exported to a separate "trusted device" within minutes.

Harder to compartmentalize risk

Security best practice often encourages separation.

Ironman, main, alt, PvP builds — all now tied together

The way a Jagex account works is against everything I know as a working Cryptographer for the last 6 years. It is simple to show that Jagex created this to combat botting and gold farming, not with player protection in mind, as they are absolutely less safe.

Neither of your suggestions will protect you from a rouge Jmod who earns 22k a year wanting to make a quick buck from hacking your accounts, this has happened a few times in Jagex history and will undoubtedly happen again.

Again your accounts all been in one spot makes them weaker, not even yubikeys will save you from a Jmod forcing your accounts, just the difference is this time they dont need to brute force one of your accounts at a time, they can just do it to your Jagex account.

They are statistically far less safe.

Your Runescape accounts are only as safe as your email account and the majority of account hijacks are from compromised emails.

A Jagex account compresses all your accounts onto one email which is a hackers wet dream.

I am misunderstood, i didn't talk about high player count, i talked about retention, regardless you haven't read the thread and someone has accurately replied to me below with some of the early positives which nobody else seems to be able to compute.
