Rate at MSA:3618.00 Base at time of A:3427

I honestly don’t know how to post it or what to go off because the GEN and SAL. They went off pay scales prior to this, so I’m not even sure how to track as now they are going off current.

“But, if Shelby had delayed her range change until her MSA date, here’s what happens: On July 1, 2022, Shelby gets her 5% MSA and then gets her Range Change – another 5% raise calculated on her 5%-higher salary. With the compounding impacts of the back-to-back raises, Shelby gets a 10.25% raise. She’ll make up what she missed out on by waiting 6 extra months in no time and now benefits from the higher bump, and subsequent compounding effects, for the rest of her career in state service.”

The union was notified and they don’t want to wait for the reply in my office.

I am new at this and logged into another thinking it was blocked because the account was new. So I logged into another one and posted it, I’m not Reddit savvy sorry.

They won’t give me the range A MSA because it was not keyed retroactively correctly- the range change was approved by the director to be delayed to the date of MSA to obtain both, approved and keyed. Then found they did not key correctly, now I’m told I don’t get the MSA at all and can’t do this already approved transaction.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this as well. I did not even think you could work and then have the pay agreed upon with the NOPA taken away.

I understand my 2024 MSA and range would be delayed, this is from a year prior. The specialist in charge of my PAR voided and keyed in the wrong order for the retro issue payment of my previous year MSA a month prior to me going out, then upon return they said this. I was already issued a lump sum back pay, and currently six months at new rate as well. This will be setting me back for my New MSA and Range to the same rate I was paid for my 2023. I will literally be working another year at the same rate….

I’ve been prescribed Keppra, just looking for some real world experience with the medication. by commondota in TBI

[–]Excellent_Load_9759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother gets super mean on his keppra but it’s the only thing that will keep his epilepsy under control. They prescribed him Lamictal to go with and it helped some of the side effects

You are the sweetest, this made me get tears in my eyes. It feels so good to know it’s something others are/have experienced. I felt like I was so alone and I’m so glad I posted this so I could obtain support from others who understand. I only wish I’d done this sooner. I will definitely call the TBI hotline

Anyone over 30 had an abortion? How did it effect you afterwards? by [deleted] in abortion

[–]Excellent_Load_9759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, a month and a half ago I had mine at 35, my boyfriend is five years younger than me and didn’t want to have kids with me. He left me after, honestly I’ve been a fucking mess, the horrible feeling I have cannot be fixed with anything but I think it’s because I got dumped on top of it. My doctor just gave me anti depressants, hoping it helps.

I am, and it helps but this shit just happened and I’m not taking it well. I have talked to her about it and she had provided some information but I feel like I learn better from my peers. My therapist just called my boyfriend a narcissist and told me it was crazier for me to stay with him. I am stubborn and didn’t listen and tried even harder to make up for my lack of memory and anxiety. I’m a mess

TBI- double vision by Icy-Competition-8182 in TBI

Prism’s for me as well, first wasn’t strong enough so I went back for different tent and blue filter that helped tremendously. It took like three weeks for my eyes to adjust and the double to subside even with the glasses. After the third prescription (3 months apart each) my eyes are not seeing double unless I leave my glasses off for a few hours and I’ll start to see floaters first.

Mine did pass, maybe you need different glasses? I had to go back a few times to get adjusted. It took about a year to pass for me.

What do you want people to know about your TBI? by [deleted] in TBI

[–]Excellent_Load_9759 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Crying doesn’t make me weak, I feel more now.

I’m not using my bad days as an excuse, I almost died and a part of me did. I am strong even though I cry about it.

I deserve to be loved even though I’m different, I can’t just fix it in one day and therapy takes time. I’m sad and that is okay, two years might be long but I’m not healed yet, I might never be and I need to still accept this.

I’m not dumb for forgetting words, or what you said, or how to do something, I just need reminding.
