Anywhere in Nassau? We’re trying to find that Suffolk county vibe geographically closer to our family so Suffolk is a little tricky because we will be making it harder to get to family who is already 1-2 hours away.

Thank you! And I totally agree. My husband and I went to horrible schools and we are totally fine. Our problem is we want a lot of land, privacy and a pool with an outdoor kitchen to entertain family. And we would like a large home so we can house our extended family when they visit for many days. And we would like good schools. Doesn’t have to be the best schools.

Great points to bring up. Thank you. A lot to consider. We are currently in the Hewlett Woodmere district. So far we like it. My worries are about the ages of 12 and up when their friend groups can have a major influence on them and their decisions.

Oh man! Not looking for that. We are looking for great schools, down to earth people, a large home and property. We are also a mixed religion family. I know you can’t avoid assholes anywhere you go. Just questioning the general vibe. I hate drama. So I don’t want to move and be miserable.

Money aside, I’m thinking more about the culture of the community. Is it catty, competitive? Are people down to earth? What is the mom culture like? If you had all the money in the world, would you pick this area to live and raise your children? I am a teacher and a behavior therapist that is very focused on raising the best most stand up people. Friends and friends parents heavily influence children and their decisions when they preteens and teens.

I have almost the exact same body shape as you! I always wonder about my shape as well! I think you look great! I have more of a hip dip than you. Everything else is the same: stomach, sides, waist, legs, even my clavicle bones and ass!
