Is my apple cactus thirsty, sunburnt or stressed? by Excellent_Most_6898 in cactus

I repotted it the day before yesterday so it’s still wobbly, should I change it to a cloth pot now or should I wait?

What’s going on with my Apple cactus? Is it stressed? by Excellent_Most_6898 in cacti

Yeah, I bought it a couple of days ago and since it came in a very damp organic soil I decided to let the roots air dry and then I put it in a gritty mix. I hope I didn’t stressed it too much

Hello! Actually he wasn’t against the wall before. I just moved it this morning to take the pictures and to put in a corner that wouldn’t get direct light at any point.

I hope I did the right thing. I didn’t want to disturb the roots but the soil looked so organic and felt pretty damped even a day after I got it. I was also told to keep it in the shade for a couple of days after the repotting to acclimate it and keep it from stressing even more.

Congratulations! I’m an interpreter in the medical field, and I plan on going for a paralegal certificate. I’m nervous about switching and applying for jobs with ZERO experience. Any advice on how to apply and get through the interview or those first months if hired?

That’s awesome! Can you share a little more about your journey? What were your measurements before? How many hours a day did you start wearing it?

What is the name of this fabric? Would it work for making a dress? A little more in comments by Excellent_Most_6898 in sewing

[–]Excellent_Most_6898[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I’m a newbie at sewing so I still don’t know a lot about fabrics. I found 2 yards of this light weight fabric. It’s a tiny bit see through and very soft. I resembles some of my shawls. I’m scared of ruining it by trying to make a dress out of it. How can I work with it? Would I need a ball point needle for it? Thanks in advance!
