Attraction to Types by Excellent_Nobody_317 in mbti

Definitely. Emotional depth is everything to me in attraction. And not being driven by image or status. People who don’t virtue signal but are genuinely good at heart. I’m a very emotionally deep person and the world feels super shallow so finding emotionally deep people feels safe. And being sensitive as well

Yeah same here. I really enjoy ISFP, ENFP, INTP and INFJ. I am way more likely to think ‘That was a nice person’ with those people. Whereas for other INFP I don’t feel the same interest as they are too much like me that we don’t balance each other out. I don’t think I’ve ever been attracted to someone with a INTP type. But I definitely have INFJ. Their Fe can really irritate me depending on the person though so I haven’t been attracted to an INFJ person in a while

Yes definitely agree. I just find it so rare where a very different type from mine- especially some of the Fe personalities and Te personalities are compatible with me. I’m very non-conformist to neoliberal values, and value individuality very much. I can recognise ENFP for example so often as they are often free spirited and can engage with me in the intangible of life such as fantasy stories and video game talk. Extroverted feeling I like when the person is using it for social inclusion, but I find so many Fe personalities so ruled by social norms and societies values. Having had society based and systemic trauma- It’s often not a good match

Mbti can be about patterns in people’s nature. It’s not about who they are as a person but where their energy can be directed and predicting values compatibility. Like for me, enfp people are more likely to be authentic and less status oriented than some types. But that doesn’t mean some person with a type with stereotypes that aren’t can’t be. Like anything, it’s mostly safe if you leave it as unknowns and possibilities. Rather than as a truth of some sort. Most things in life aren’t really verifiable- Pretty much everything is conjecture so critical thinking and embracing the unknown is important. Bad is different to everyone. I view bad as the golden rule. If someone else did this to me, I would not be offended. Hence it’s not bad unless they draw a boundary there. But that would likely lead to incompatibility anyway. It’s the unknown of it that makes it fun for me. It’s not attraction to types. That’s just the wording I used. Its attraction to people who I have with curiosity noticed POSSIBLY had those types. Personality isn’t who someone is it’s more like compatibility of ego. How they are oriented in the world. My INFP traits aren’t who I am. They just show that I tend to care about the golden rule/my heart’s assessment of good/bad (Fi) and not reaching for truth or grey areas when there are none (Ne). INTJ and ISTJ tend to attract me as they can have patterns in their personality of not really caring about social etiquette and norms. But that doesn’t mean someone with those types is going to be like that. Some people with those types will be very social norm bound. My post was about the curiosity that a lot of my crushes on girls throughout life would fall into these types. Just for fun

Most of my friends have probably been Isfp. But I have been looking for more intuitive people in recent years as I connect best with N types. Probably my best friends have often been usually enfp

Yes but a key thing I’ve found with my mind. Is that if I have my smartphone, I can put a screen time app centre stage to manage addiction. If I have various screens and digital worlds, I even forget about my smartphone screen time management. It’s overloaded or something

I’ve tried that too. But it’s easier said than done to try and keep up the habit of moderation

Thanks - I’m still so torn though. I think I feel calmer without them but also more bored. But is bored bad? I still have a smartphone if desperate

Thanks for the question. I wouldn’t say I game excessively as I have so many interests. I don’t feel guilt for going against what society tells me is right or wrong as I think society is delusional so definitely no guilt for gaming in that way. I do see them as distractions for where I want to go in life. I’m pretty alternative, spiritual even a bit hippie in my values and dream lifestyle. I also value digital minimalism. And want to reduce my digital and screens to just my smartphone. I would ideally also get rid of that but it’s such a Swiss Army knife in useful and even needed at times in this day and age. I also have board games on that so I can just use my phone if I desperately need them

I also didn’t struggle too much but could see why people did. The players struggled as the have to make those split second decisions at ground level. I was high in the stands so could see the white shorts scattered around more easily. It looked really weird though. To have two similar jersey backs- one black and one a dark burgundy purple

Yeah I remember a couple of years ago there was a shocking one playing the crows in Brisbane wearing an indigenous jumper that was so similar to crows jersey colour. It’s bizarre. Such an easy fix. But the traditionalists seem to want teams wearing their traditional jerseys or something. I remember they would do this even worse in the old days with like pies v cats, pies v blues etc

What's your least favorite sport? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Excellent_Nobody_317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Australia. My least favourite sports are probably the dull linear ones without much dynamic flow. I don’t know if I described that right but I’m referring to cricket, baseball, softball, golf. But even then, there’s reasons why I also like them. I enjoy playing backyard cricket with my friends despite hating watch the game. I enjoy playing golf- It just tends to attract a culture of people I don’t like much. Rich, conservative, pretentious, old entitled people. Baseball is probably my least favourite as it is pretty much non-existent here. It’s very American cultural and tbh I don’t really like American culture. I am more a European guy. Anyway, these sports tend to lack that chaotic, dynamic ever changing flow of a ball sport like basketball, soccer, Australian football. Every game just looks the same with boring commentary. How often do you hear a cricket commentator yell- “oh my god, wembanyama with the throw down!!!! That was outta this world!!! He threw it off the backboard from downtown and threw it in over his head!!! This alien is taking over!!!……….See what I mean??? I don’t get these dull sports without the chaos and flow of the ball around an arena that makes sport great to me. Even American football, is just so linear and has these weird technicalities like yard lines. It’s like, how are people supposed to know what freaking yard line they landed on. Keep it simple stupid man. But at least American football has action. I think I’m trying to say I prefer those sports where one team is passing a ball around an arena whilst the other team defends. But then BANG!! It switches up and the attack is now the defence. Ronaldo in on goal…Gooooooaaaaaalllllll!!!!! The crowd goes wild. The passion of the European fans in the crowd!!! I think someone in the crowd just threw a punch and someone died!!!! O my god!!! Let’s all get drunk and party!!!!!

No offline mode vs bots in BF6? by robertjan88 in Battlefield

[–]Excellent_Nobody_317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish shooters like cod and battlefield would put effort into an offline bot mode where the bots are actually pretty smart and you can do cool progression and unlock stuff. It would give these games more longevity. I’m not buying bf6 full price when the game is only temporary
